Shrishti asks Shubh to help her. She asks about his fees. He says he won’t take any fees, he’s just doing his work and they’re relatives. She insists that he take fees, saying she can sell her jewellery and assets. Shubh stops her, saying he doesn’t charge family or friends. He reminds her that her daughter is his bahu and assures her he will handle everything. He says Anirudh will understand Jhanak’s truth.
Shrishti agrees and says she wants Anirudh and Arshi to start a new life. She says she will tell the world that Jhanak is greedy and won’t be able to face Anirudh in court. She believes that when Jhanak’s truth is exposed, Anirudh’s eyes will open. She tells Shubh to make Anirudh hate Jhanak and do anything it takes to teach her a lesson. Shubh agrees and promises to expose Jhanak soon. Shrishti leaves.
Choton asks Mrinalini to come home. She hesitates, saying she doesn’t know how to bring up their marriage. Choton says she needs to give her consent or he might have to kidnap her, then apologizes. Mrinalini says it isn’t the right time to discuss marriage. Choton says whether Jhanak stays in their house or not, she is alive and that matters.
Mrinalini says Jhanak’s life is different from Anirudh’s and she doesn’t know if they’ll end up together. Choton says Bablu and Anjana regard Jhanak as their daughter and they all love her. They talk about Jhanak, Arshi, and Anirudh’s complicated lives. Mrinalini says everyone has a past and if that past stays present, happiness is difficult to find.
She says Arshi won’t let Jhanak live in peace and that her demand isn’t unjustified. No girl wants someone else in her lover’s life. Choton says Jhanak has a true heart, which is why they love her. Mrinalini agrees but says they can’t do anything; Anirudh and Jhanak have different lives. Choton says anything can happen if it’s God’s will.
Mrinalini agrees again but says they can’t force things. She says she’s thinking of all three people involved and how they’ll be hurt. Choton mentions the court hearing starting in two days and that Shubh is representing Shrishti, who will try to prove Jhanak isn’t her daughter. Mrinalini says the truth can’t be hidden. Choton says some truths can be manipulated.
He then brings the conversation back to their marriage and says no one talks about it anymore. Mrinalini laughs. He complains and says he’s growing old and wants to get married soon. Mrinalini jokes and smiles. Choton says he met her, they liked each other, and now he wants to marry her. He holds her hand and says she must now tolerate him for life. They smile.
Choton then announces publicly that he’s going to marry Mrinalini. He invites everyone to the wedding, gives her a rose, and asks her to marry him. Mrinalini smiles, accepts the rose, and they walk away holding hands. In the morning, Shrishti and others arrive at the court and hear taunts from people around. Shubh tells Shrishti to ignore them. Anirudh, Jhanak, and Brij arrive.
Arshi watches them. The lawyer tells Brij and Jhanak not to worry. Some women comment about Anirudh, Arshi, and Jhanak. Arshi scolds Anirudh for going to Jhanak. Anirudh says he already told her he would be with Jhanak in this fight. Arshi scolds Jhanak too. Jhanak argues back, saying Anirudh supports the truth and that’s his best quality. Arshi tells her to shut up.
Jhanak responds strongly, saying she’s no longer helpless and won’t tolerate Arshi’s misbehavior. Shrishti gets angry and tells Arshi not to talk to anyone and maintain her standard. Anirudh taunts Shrishti about her standards. Arshi asks who Jhanak thinks she is. Bipasha questions Anirudh about always insulting Arshi and says they don’t care about this case.
Anirudh asks why they came then. Tanuja says Anirudh’s father is fighting the case. Anirudh says his father fights many cases; that doesn’t mean everyone should show up. Bipasha says they came to support someone during tough times. Anirudh comments on Shrishti and reminds them that court decisions are based on evidence, not relations. He tells them they shouldn’t have come.
Tanuja says they’re there to support Shrishti. Brij scolds them. Shrishti argues back. Arshi tries to stop Jhanak and scolds her. Jhanak responds to Shrishti, saying she doesn’t chase Anirudh or trap him. She tells them to focus on their own lives and to keep Anirudh safe like a favorite toy. Arshi mocks her courage. Brij steps in and defends Jhanak. He says Shrishti is scared of Jhanak’s talent. Brij and Jhanak go inside the court.
Tanuja stops Anirudh. Shrishti asks him why he stopped Arshi from leaving the house. Anirudh replies that he’s with Jhanak in this battle, and she’s against Shrishti, not Arshi. He leaves. At home, Appu thinks about Kajal’s matter and says she wanted to go to court to see if Shrishti gets punished. She decides to surprise Jhanak. Anuradha and Jhimli come home.
Appu says she wasn’t planning to run away and asks Anuradha to take her to court. The court hearing begins. Shubh and Depashish present their arguments to the judge. Depashish says the case is complicated and everyone is interested in it. He describes it as involving two girls from the same family. Shubh says only the truth matters in court and tells Depashish to drop the drama and use real names.
