Brij Bhushan tells Jhanak that he wants her to marry Aniruddh. Jhanak asks him to stop and says even thinking about it is a sin. She adds that she is not Srishti to do something like that. Aniruddh enters and tells Jhanak that Srishti lied to him, so it’s his battle too. Brij Bhushan says there’s nothing wrong with accepting Aniruddh’s support.
Aniruddh affirms that he will fight for the truth and reveals that Shubhankar is fighting on Srishti’s side. Brij Bhushan adds that Srishti never wanted to accept Jhanak as her daughter, but he won’t let Srishti win. He wants Jhanak to lead a peaceful life. Aniruddh tells Brij Bhushan that they need to prove Srishti was involved with Tejas in the attempt to murder Jhanak and suspects Arshi might also be involved.
Jhanak is shocked to hear this. Aniruddh advises Brij Bhushan to hire a lawyer first, but insists only he can handle Shubhankar. Brij Bhushan agrees.
Meanwhile, Dr. Anirban calls Shubhankar to complain about Mimi. Shubhankar puts the phone on speaker. Tanuja asks Dr. Anirban what he is saying. Dr. Anirban sarcastically comments that Tanuja must be really busy, as she has no idea about Mimi’s actions.
He informs them about Mimi’s behavior. Shubhankar tells him he will talk to Mimi and ends the call. Bipasha expresses disbelief at Mimi’s actions. Shubhankar tells Tanuja not to interfere when he questions Mimi. Tanuja suggests they find a good match for Mimi. Arundhati asks Shubhankar why she has to endure such things at her age.
Brij Bhushan reiterates that Srishti never accepted Jhanak as her daughter. Jhanak responds that Urvashi is her mother. Aniruddh tells Jhanak that she can live a happy life once Srishti is out of her life. Brij Bhushan then goes inside to consult a lawyer. Jhanak tells Aniruddh that Arshi will be hurt. Aniruddh replies that he has already told Arshi he loves Jhanak.
He asks Jhanak if she doesn’t believe he loves her. He says he knows she loves him too. Jhanak says she doesn’t want to break anyone’s marriage. Aniruddh insists she isn’t responsible for anything and says Arshi is his responsibility but Jhanak is his love. He says he is not wrong to love her, but Jhanak asks him to leave her.
Aniruddh expresses his desire to live with her, but if that’s not possible, he wants to be by her side when she is sad. Jhanak says Arshi will be deeply hurt if she finds out about them. She admits she loves Aniruddh and knows he loves her. Aniruddh becomes emotional hearing this. He confesses that his heart burns when he sees her with someone else, and even when he was with Arshi, he only thought about Jhanak. He hugs her and cries.
Srishti meets Shubhankar at his office and says she wants a favor. Shubhankar says he will support her. Srishti says she wants him to fight her case and claims all the accusations are false. Shubhankar says he doesn’t believe the accusations and assures her they will win the case.
Srishti insists on proving that Vinayak is lying and that Jhanak and Brij Bhushan are making false statements. She adds that Urvashi might have had an affair with both Brij Bhushan and Kul Bhushan. Shubhankar tells her not to hide anything if she wants to win the case and asks whether she knew Brij Bhushan.

Srishti says she was with Guruji for a workshop and claims Urvashi also worked there at the time. When asked about Jhanak’s disappearance, she admits that she spoke to Tejas just once. She says she requested Tejas to take Jhanak with him so Arshi could stay peacefully with Aniruddh. She adds that she wants revenge.
