Vinayak says that the girl came back and ran her household just like before. Her husband eventually realized that she didn’t truly love him; she only loved his money and status. Even then, their relationship remained intact because he didn’t want to end the marriage. During that one year, the girl had been with her first husband, whom she truly loved.
Shrishti interrupts, asking what kind of story this is and what he’s trying to say. Vinayak tells her to let him finish. He continues that the girl didn’t want to tell her current husband about her past marriage and child. She was scared her first husband would come to her second husband’s house, so she pretended to love the first husband and even carried his child.
Later, she went back to get rid of him. His twin brother supported her plan and ended up taking over all his wealth, status, and fame. They made the first husband disappear. The girl felt relieved and returned to her second husband. Everyone looks on in shock and confusion. Vinayak adds that she left the child behind and that her younger sister took responsibility for the baby.
That sister was a talented dancer and also in love with the same man but never wanted to break her sister’s family. As time passed, the young girl grew up and eventually met her real family. Vinayak then begins to speak about Arshi, Jhanak, and Anirudh’s story. He reveals that many people tried to kill Jhanak but failed. Mrinalini reacts and says that Vinayak is talking about Jhanak.
Choton asks who the woman is, and Mrinalini says it’s Shrishti. He is shocked and asks if Shrishti has two children. Arshi demands to know what they are talking about. Shrishti brushes it off, saying that Vinayak has lost his mind. Anirudh thinks to himself that he’s finally able to understand Vinayak’s words. Vinayak insists the story isn’t over. He says the people who tried to kill the girl failed.
Some Sadhus saved her and took her to an ashram where she met her father. Her father’s friend was a doctor who saved her life and named her Nutan. Everyone is stunned. Anirudh looks at Jhanak. Shrishti yells at Vinayak to stop. He tells her to shut up and says that he has given her the biggest gift of her life today. Tanuja asks what he means, saying none of them are able to understand anything.
Vinayak then drops the bombshell—he says that Arshi is Shrishti and his daughter, but Shrishti has another daughter: Jhanak. He reveals that Jhanak is Nutan. Everyone is shocked. Appu starts laughing and says, “I told you, Nutan is Jhanak.” Anjana tries to stop her. Anirudh cries and hugs Jhanak. Bipasha asks what is going on. Shubh questions Vinayak, asking what he’s saying. Tanuja asks if Jhanak and Arshi are sisters and if Jhanak is Shrishti’s daughter.
Jhanak confirms it and says it’s true—Shrishti gave birth to her. But she refuses to accept that identity. She says she’s Urvashi’s daughter. She never met her father and used to hate him until she eventually met him—Pandit BrijBhushan. He made her realize how deeply a father can care for his daughter. Shrishti feels dizzy. Brij steps in and says everything Vinayak said is true. He confirms he is Shrishti’s husband.
Arshi is stunned and asks what he means. Shrishti faints. Shubh asks someone to bring water. Vinayak tells Arshi she needs to face the truth. Tanuja and Bipasha attend to Shrishti. Vinayak announces that no woman can stay with two husbands and that he has decided to divorce Shrishti. Arshi is shocked and pleads with her father not to do it. He says he knows she’s hurt, but she has to accept the truth—Jhanak is her sister, and Shrishti is her mother.
He says he used to love Shrishti, but now he hates her. She’s capable of anything—even murder. She stole someone else’s identity and reputation, which is why she can’t face Jhanak. She knows Jhanak has real talent. Anirudh looks at Jhanak and says he was sure she would be okay. Arshi then says Jhanak may have come back from the dead, but that doesn’t mean she will come between them.
She has her father now and doesn’t need their support anymore. She congratulates Jhanak but declares that they will never share a relationship. Arshi asks Anirudh to come with her. He says if she wants to leave, she can go, but he’s not going anywhere. Brij thanks Vinayak for revealing the truth and says it took courage. He asks Jhanak to come with him. Anirudh stops her and holds her hand. Arshi says that since Jhanak has her father, she should go home.
Jhanak tells Anirudh that he will marry Arshi only because she’s allowing it to happen. She says he will always be indebted to her. Crying, she leaves. Back at home, Jhanak speaks to Brij. She says she must accept her identity, but it’s a shame to be called Shrishti’s daughter. Brij tells her not to worry and says Vinayak will never accept Shrishti again. He believes Arshi will also reject her. Jhanak says Arshi will never see her as a sister.
Meanwhile, Vinayak, Shrishti, and Arshi return home. Vinayak goes straight to his room and locks the door. Shrishti begs him to open it. Arshi asks if she must really live with the truth that Jhanak is her sister. Shrishti insists it’s a lie and says she doesn’t accept it. She says Vinayak should’ve discussed everything with her first. Vinayak comes out of the room and tells her to take the matter to court—he can prove the truth. Shrishti argues that she never left him.
Vinayak counters that she needed his money. She asks whether she doesn’t have her own money and status. He replies that she does, but not enough. She earns less, spends more, and then turns to him for help. He questions her, asking what she ever did for Arshi. He reminds her that she left their daughter and only showed interest in her dancing. He had to handle Arshi’s education alone. Shrishti wonders why he’s asking her these things now.
Vinayak says he raised Arshi, unlike her. Arshi cries and says she remembers her childhood well. Back then, she thought it was normal for her mother to have no time for her because she was a big dancer. She turns to Vinayak and asks whether what he said earlier is true. Vinayak says she shouldn’t think he’s careless enough to insult her mother with false accusations. Arshi says she can’t accept the truth.
Brij says the real game will begin now—with a court case. He says he will not spare Shrishti. She refused to accept Jhanak and married again after leaving him. She even tried to give Jhanak’s rightful place to Arshi. He declares that Jhanak is Shrishti’s legitimate child. Shrishti calls it all a lie and claims that Brij and Jhanak are plotting against her and Arshi.
She even accuses Anirudh of being part of it. Arshi says if Shrishti is telling the truth, then she should bring proof. She adds that she will find out the truth. Vinayak says they have to bear this humiliation now. Shrishti has deceived him all his life. He says he can’t stay with her anymore. She was already married—how could she marry again? Shrishti denies it and begs him to believe her.
He then questions how she could abandon her child and destroy Jhanak’s life. He accuses her of wanting to kill Jhanak just to protect her own secret. Shrishti continues to deny it. Vinayak insists that no one has brainwashed him and that it’s impossible to fool him. He says he loved her deeply and forgave many of her mistakes—but not anymore. Now he will stand for the truth.
He scolds her and tells Arshi to go to Anirudh. Arshi says that even if she goes to that house, she won’t be respected. Anirudh will only be busy getting justice for Jhanak—she’s sure of that. Brij tells Jhanak that Arshi is her elder sister. Jhanak cries and says she can’t take it anymore. Just then, Anirudh comes to the house and knocks on the door, calling out her name. Brij tells her that he knew Anirudh would come. Jhanak says she doesn’t want to see him and won’t destroy someone else’s family.
Brij says her own life has already been shattered—how could she ruin what’s already broken? He reminds her that Anirudh has always stood by her. He opens the door for him. Anirudh comes in and tells Jhanak that he’s happy she’s back. He asks why she left him. Jhanak pushes him away and asks why he came at this hour. He cries and asks if she really has to question that. She says nothing will change.
