Anirudh is leaving. Arshi says she can’t manage. She imagines Shrishti asking her to handle it, control Anirudh, and show Jhanak her place, or else it would be a shame on her. Arshi gets motivated. Kajal leaves. Appu asks why she made Kajal leave. Lalon says he’s worried. He gets a call from the commissioner and shares his problem.
The commissioner advises him to file a complaint and promises to handle it. Appu says she wants the commissioner’s help. Lalon lets her speak to him. Dr. Sen tells Mimi she’s crossing her limits. Mimi asks him to meet her friends. They thank Dr. Sen and call him “Jija ji.” Mimi asks him not to react like that. Dr. Sen questions her mischievous behavior.
Rumi introduces him. Mimi then asks him to pay the bill, saying they don’t have money. Dr. Sen angrily pays. Mimi taunts him and smiles as he leaves. Appu tells the commissioner she wants his help in finding Jhanak. She says she knows Nutan is actually Jhanak and plans to catch her at Shrishti’s party. The commissioner promises to help.
Appu is happy and leaves. Lalon apologizes, saying the commissioner knows how Appu is. The commissioner agrees with Appu and says he also feels Nutan and Jhanak are connected. He suggests they target and trap Tejas. Lalon hopes it happens. Vinayak and Shrishti come downstairs. Arshi wishes them a happy anniversary.
Anirudh and his family arrive and also wish the couple. Vinayak asks Anirudh to sing, but he refuses. Arshi insists. Appu and Lalon arrive. Appu hugs Anirudh and says Kajal helped her get dressed. Lalon says Appu was insisting on coming, so he brought her. Appu wishes Shrishti. Shrishti tells her to behave. Lalon admits he’s not used to such parties, and Shrishti tells him to learn high-society etiquette. Lalon wishes her.
Arshi says Anirudh isn’t singing. Appu says she will sing. Shrishti says Bengali songs aren’t good. Appu says she knows Hindi songs. Arshi says to let her sing if she wants. Shrishti jokes, and Appu taunts her back. Anirudh asks Lalon and Appu to sing. Choton and Mrinalini arrive. Shrishti notes they always come together. Choton replies that Mrinalini is his would-be wife, so they came together.
Mrinalini wishes the couple and gives them a gift. Shrishti tries to belittle them. Appu asks about Nutan. Arshi says their dad invited her, and they’ll come. Anirudh thinks of Jhanak when he sees Nutan. Everyone asks about Vinayak’s surprise. Vinayak says he’ll reveal it later. Shrishti jokes that he might have bought her a villa. He says to wait, as some special guests are arriving.
Jhanak enters the party. Everyone is stunned by her entry. Anirudh approaches her. Arshi and Shrishti get worried. Brij arrives, and Shrishti observes closely. Vinayak thanks Brij for coming. Brij thanks him for the invite. Vinayak greets Nutan (Jhanak) and says she looks very pretty. Shrishti asks why he invited them. Arshi says their dad is emotional and invited them. Shrishti tells her to stay alert because Anirudh has gone to Nutan.
Shrishti discusses Nutan’s presence with the Bose family. Lalon and Appu sing “Tere Mere Milan Ki Ye Raina…” Everyone claps. Appu sees Jhanak and goes to her. Jhanak acts as Nutan. Anjana tells Appu that she didn’t see Jhanak and takes her away. Choton and Mrinalini also see Nutan and feel bad for Anirudh.
Anirudh greets Brij. Vinayak attends to Brij and Nutan. He asks Anirudh to take care of them. Anirudh agrees. Lal announces that Anirudh will sing. Anirudh refuses. Jhanak asks if he sings. He says he’s just a bathroom singer. She encourages him to sing, saying everyone would love to hear him. Bipasha and Arshi also urge him, saying Nutan is interested. Anirudh sings “Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas…” Arshi thinks Anirudh is obsessed with Nutan and wishes to get pregnant so he won’t leave her. Anirudh sings while looking at Nutan (Jhanak). Everyone claps.
Vinayak announces it’s time for the cake cutting. Shrishti reminds him he hasn’t revealed the surprise yet. He says he’s called someone to reveal it. Shrishti wants the surprise gift. Vinayak addresses the guests and says he’s giving a surprise gift to his wife. Shrishti says she doesn’t know what the surprise is but considers everyone her family and wants to share the moment with them.
Brij tells Jhanak not to worry, as Shrishti knows the truth and should be ashamed. Shrishti thinks Jhanak is there to ruin her life but claims she’s happy with her husband. Vinayak and Shrishti cut the cake. Everyone claps. Vinayak says Shrishti is waiting for the surprise and begins telling a story. Shrishti says she won’t stop him.
Vinayak narrates a story of a man from a poor background who worked hard and became successful. He met a woman at a party, fell for her, and married her. They had a daughter. The man was supportive and allowed his wife to go for training for a year. But when she returned, she was with the man she originally loved—her first husband. Shrishti is shocked. Everyone looks on.
