Brij is talking to the lawyer. He tells him about his friend who runs an ashram and is a doctor. He says his friend will be involved in the case, along with a few others. The lawyer agrees and says he will start working on it today itself. Brij thanks him and says he doesn’t have money right now, but his friend has promised to help him financially.
He adds that he will take a loan from his friend for the sake of his daughter and asks the lawyer to give them time to pay his fees. The lawyer says he has good news and bad news for him. Meanwhile, Vinayak and Shrishti arrive home. Shubh and Tanuja welcome them. Bablu and the others gather around. Anjana asks Vinayak if they want coffee or tea.
Vinayak remarks that she’s always in the kitchen. Tanuja blames Anjana for removing the cook. Choton steps in and defends Anjana, asking Tanuja and Bipasha to cook for the family instead of relying on Anjana. Tanuja asks if Meenu is the one teaching him this. Choton says yes, she is more educated than him, and he will learn from her. Anjana asks Choton not to argue and says she will make the food.
The lawyer tells Brij that he won’t charge for the case. He says it’s the first time he’s fighting such a case and it’s like a gift for him. He adds that they can just give him one rupee. Jhanak objects, but the lawyer insists, saying they should focus on winning the case first and can think about payments later.
Anjana apologizes to Vinayak. Lal gets angry and scolds her. He questions Choton about why he’s irritated, accusing him of being resentful just because Tanuja and Shubh handle the household. Lal says he’s ashamed to call himself his parents’ son. Anjana, furious, slaps him.
She asks him how dare he speak that way. Bipasha intervenes and asks if Anjana has gone mad to slap Lal, accusing her of insulting him. Anjana tells her to shut up, saying if Bipasha were her daughter, she would’ve understood how hurtful those words were. Anjana calls Bipasha ill-mannered and says it’s good she doesn’t have a daughter.
She asserts that she has every right to scold her son and will always have that right. Bablu and Choton cry. Anjana continues scolding Lal, questioning what he contributes to the household and accusing him of always running away when it comes to money matters. She says his father and Choton work hard and hand over their earnings to the house.
Tanuja tries to stop Anjana and asks if she’s gone mad to slap Lal. Bipasha warns Anjana that she can’t slap her husband. Anjana warns Bipasha not to interfere between her and her son. She repeats that Lal is her son first, and she has the right to scold him for his misbehavior, adding that she should’ve slapped him long ago.
The lawyer advises Brij that they will demand police protection if they feel their lives are in danger. Brij says they can’t live under police protection forever and assures him they will fight. The lawyer says he’s impressed by Brij’s thinking and asks about his brother. Brij replies that he doesn’t know where his brother is at the moment.
Choton scolds Lal and tells him to take his wife and leave the house.
Anirudh and Arshi arrive. Anirudh asks what’s going on. Choton tells him to ask Lal. Anirudh questions Lal about whether he insulted Anjana again. Lal declares that he’s leaving the house. Bipasha protests, saying Anjana isn’t the owner of the house. Vinayak scolds Bipasha. Lal tells him to let it be. Vinayak says he never learned such values. Shrishti asks him to calm down and then asks Anirudh how he’s feeling.
Anirudh replies that he’s feeling better. Shrishti comments that they just arrived and a drama has already started. Anirudh explains that he had asked Lal not to insult Bablu and Anjana, adding that Lal never fulfilled a son’s responsibilities. He says it’s fine and that he will take care of them. He asks Anjana if Lal insulted her. Anjana cries.
Choton says to leave it, saying he heard everything and can’t forget it. He explains that Anjana was insulted by Lal, and she slapped him, but Lal foolishly started shouting. Shubh taunts Choton, leading to another argument. Arshi asks Lal not to leave the house. Lal refuses, saying Anjana always insults him and he feels bad. Vinayak tells him not to do such things then.
Anirudh agrees with Vinayak. Vinayak says they came for some work. Shrishti confirms. Shubh apologizes for the family drama. Shrishti says it’s fine. Vinayak says he doesn’t support such behavior. Arshi realizes she forgot to tell them something. Vinayak invites Anirudh and the others to their 25th wedding anniversary celebration. Tanuja expresses excitement.
Anirudh reflects on his feelings, wondering why he can’t stay happy and whether he truly loves Arshi, realizing Jhanak will never come back. The lawyer asks Jhanak if Urvashi was married and whether she’s really her mother. He suggests that maybe Urvashi hid the truth for Jhanak’s betterment and advises her to reveal her true identity to honor Urvashi. Jhanak apologizes and agrees.
Anirudh tells Shrishti that he feels Jhanak is still alive. Shrishti is surprised. Anirudh says he feels she could return any moment. Tanuja insists that Jhanak is gone. Vinayak asks Anirudh to come with him, saying it’s important. Shrishti suspects Vinayak is hiding something. Anirudh asks why he’s being called. Vinayak assures him he will be glad.
Choton expresses the family’s inability to cope with the loss, saying they loved Jhanak a lot. Arshi says she will accompany Anirudh and won’t leave him alone, prioritizing him over her career. Anirudh says he can’t promise but will try. Arshi says she’s with him and believes they drifted apart because they didn’t spend enough time together.
Shrishti invites Anjana and Bablu to the anniversary party. Anjana declines, saying she considered Jhanak her daughter and can’t attend a celebration so soon after losing her. She suggests inviting people who bring happiness to the event and goes to prepare tea. Brij tells the lawyer he wants to give everything to his daughter.
The lawyer says he doesn’t understand emotions like Brij does, but he promises to uncover the truth and meet him soon in court. Brij mentions an upcoming dance competition, with Shrishti as the judge and Arshi and Jhanak as the performers. He says his brother, Kul Bhushan, will also attend. The lawyer confirms he will be there. Jhanak asks if guests are allowed. The lawyer says he will be attending the program.
