Aaji asks Sayali about her mangalsutra and jewellery. She questions whether Sayali had a fight with Sachin or mortgaged the jewellery for Paresh’s sake. Sayali says no. Aaji presses her to tell the truth. Sayali confesses that she gave the jewellery to Renu. Aaji asks why.
Sayali explains everything and starts crying. She says Renu insulted her father, and she couldn’t stay quiet, so she gave all her jewellery to her. Aaji gets furious and says she will teach Renu a lesson. Sayali asks her not to. Aaji says Renu thinks she can do anything. She asks if Sachin didn’t say anything to Renu. Then, Aaji shouts for Sachin and calls him.
She beats him and asks what is going on. He says Sayali is his wife. Aaji scolds him. He explains that he didn’t take Sayali’s jewellery, but Renu insulted her, and Sayali gave the jewellery as a reply. He says she gave a good answer. Aaji asks why he didn’t say anything to Renu. He replies that Sayali handled it and that he promised to buy a new mangalsutra for her.
Aaji says she could have given him money. Sayali insists that Sachin will buy the mangalsutra. Sachin says Sayali challenged Renu, so he will buy it for her. Aaji tells him to take care of Sayali, warning that Renu will treat her badly. She will respect the other two daughters-in-law because of their money, but she will make Sayali a maid.
Sachin agrees and says he’s tired of seeing Sayali follow everyone’s orders. Aaji asks Sayali why she does that. She tells Sachin to treat his wife like a queen. Sachin jokes, saying, “As you command, Rajmata.” Aaji smiles and tells them to just stay happy. Later, Aaji meets everyone. Renu asks what Aaji was discussing with Sachin and Sayali. Aaji tells her to mind her own business.
Paresh asks everyone to take Aaji’s blessings. She blesses Akash and Riya and gives them some money as a customary gift. Riya thanks her. Tejas asks Roshni to take blessings. Sachin teases Tejas about taking money. Tejas and Roshni take blessings, and Aaji gives them some money too. She asks Roshni to call her dad to meet them. Roshni agrees.
Tejas keeps the money. Aaji tells Renu not to differentiate between her sons and daughters-in-law. She praises Sayali. Sayali smiles. Renu says okay. Aaji cries and tells Paresh to take care of himself. He assures her and hugs her. Aaji leaves with Sachin. Renu gets angry at Sayali and thinks about showing her real torture. At night, Renu brings a glass of milk for Paresh. He jokes and takes it.
Roshni checks her phone. Paresh asks Roshni if she won’t shut the parlour for a few days when they go to the village. He asks if there’s no one to look after it. Renu says the staff can handle it. Roshni gets worried but agrees. Renu says she will get a facial done before they leave. Riya enters, wearing a short dress. Everyone notices. Paresh closes his eyes. Sayali sees this.
Riya says she’s killing mosquitoes. Renu tells her to go to her room. Sayali offers to help, but Riya insists she’s fine. Tejas enters and sees Riya. Roshni tells him to go to his room. Tejas leaves. Renu and Sayali try to cover up Riya. Riya climbs on the bed. Renu asks her to come down or she’ll fall. Roshni and Sayali also ask her to get down. Paresh turns his face away.
Renu takes Riya aside and asks what she wants, and whether she brought all her clothes. Riya says she did. Renu tells her to wear warmer clothes because it’s cold. Riya says she’s comfortable and wanted to wear that dress. Roshni says it may not be comfortable. Riya insists that it is. Roshni tries to explain, and Renu also says she shouldn’t wear short dresses as there are others in the house.
Riya argues that even though his uncle is in the house, she used to wear such clothes at home, and her parents never objected. She says this is also her home, and that uncle called her his daughter. Renu agrees. Riya says she should be able to wear what she wants and apologizes, saying it’s her decision and she doesn’t like anyone questioning her clothing choices.
