Isha lies that it was her mistake and not the car driver’s mistake, as she was walking on the wrong side of the road. Savi asks her to stop lying and tell the truth to the inspector. The inspector asks Savi not to pressure Isha and takes her signature on the statement. Savi asks Isha why she is trying to save Jigar. Isha asks her to bring her medicines. Savi wonders why Isha changed her statement and thinks Rajat would be angry if he finds out.
She finds Bhagyashree’s asthma pump in Isha’s room and questions her, asking if Bhagyashree requested her to change the statement. Isha denies it. Savi asks then why Bhagyashree’s inhaler is in the room and accuses her of trying to save Jigar on Bhagyashree’s request.
Isha says she is also a mother like Bhagyashree and recalls how Bhagyashree had pleaded with her to spare Jigar for Tara and Shakti’s sake. Savi informs Rajat about it. Rajat angrily confronts Bhagyashree and Isha for trying to protect Jigar. Bhagyashree says they had to spare him for Tara and Shakti’s sake.
Rajat says when Jigar didn’t think about Tara and Shakti, why should they? He says every criminal is someone’s relative. Isha says she understands Bhagyashree’s feelings and insists they shouldn’t punish Jigar since nothing major happened to her. Rajat asks if they need to wait till something does happen. Isha explains that she was a teacher and knows people can change after committing a crime. Rajat says Jigar will never change—he took Arsh’s help immediately after getting out of jail.
He says they need to decide whether to punish the monster or let him go. Bhagyashree agrees that the monster Jigar should be punished for Tara and Shakti’s sake. She urges Isha to reveal the truth to the police and get Jigar arrested. Isha asks Rajat to call the inspector so she can record her changed statement.
Ashika waits for Rajat and wonders how he could forget today’s date. Arsh walks in and insists she come to a party where Rajat and Savi will also be present. Rajat arrives, and Ashika feels reassured. Rajat calls the inspector and demands Jigar’s arrest for causing Isha’s accident.
Jigar denies the accusation. The inspector says there is evidence that he caused the accident using a black SUV. Jigar says he doesn’t own a car. Rajat retorts that Jigar can’t even buy a cycle and that the SUV belongs to Arsh, which Jigar was driving.
Arsh intervenes, saying maybe it’s his car but Jigar wasn’t driving it. He presents a sale deed claiming he sold the black SUV one day before the accident. Rajat calls it nonsense, saying they’re lying. He accuses Jigar of attacking from behind and says Arsh can go to any extent to harm him and his family.
The inspector, seeing the new evidence, says he can’t arrest Jigar and instructs both Arsh and Jigar not to leave Mumbai until the case is resolved. Arsh agrees and says he’s only concerned for Isha aunty. Jigar taunts Rajat, asking if he’s still not satisfied. Rajat scolds him. Ashika watches and thinks Rajat forgot such an important date while being busy getting justice for his mother-in-law. She wonders what magic Savi has done on him.
Rajat returns home frustrated and tells Savi everything. He receives repeated calls from Umesh. Savi says Umesh’s wife had also called and invited them to a party and suggests he attend. Rajat says she should accompany him as his wife and asks her to visit a parlour and get ready for the event.
