Anirudh, family members, and police come to the ashram to enquire about Jhanak. Pandit ji says it’s impossible for anyone to be saved. He saw that girl but couldn’t save her. She was dead. Anirudh asks if he’s sure. Pandit ji says yes, he thinks so. Choton asks where her body goes. Pandit ji says the water level was high, the car might have gone back into the river, and he felt really bad because that girl was innocent. The inspector says they got info that he brought the girl to the ashram to make her fine. Pandit ji says no, who can give life to the dead.
The commissioner says maybe the girl was unconscious, not dead. Pandit ji lies to him.
Pandit ji says maybe it’s a murder. The inspector says that the car is missing. Pandit ji says that area is far from the ashram, maybe the poor people took the car and sold it for money. He says he didn’t do the last rites because he knew the police would come and take the dead body, it’s not his duty to inform the police. He asks if they are blaming him. Choton says no, they haven’t seen her body, and they feel she is alive.
Pandit ji says if so, then she would have contacted them. He asks if they are her family. Anirudh says she is a part of their family, and they don’t know what happened to her. Pandit ji says he can’t help them and apologizes. Meenakshi says they heard a girl came there that day and asks if they can meet her. Pandit ji answers them about the ashram and the people living there. The inspector asks for names and details of everyone staying there. The commissioner says it’s their routine job and that they are doing a tough investigation.
Bablu says not to feel bad, they just want to find out. Pandit ji asks a man to call everyone and says they can go and speak to Guru ji, who is his friend and co-founder of the ashram. The commissioner asks what he did before becoming a saint. Pandit ji says he doesn’t want to talk about his past life and can’t help them. The inspector says fine and asks about his profession. Pandit ji says it’s not related to the case and tells him not to ask anything about it. Meenakshi says fine, they will go and meet the people.
Gita asks Jhanak to wear the ghunghat and go out. She tells her not to answer them and says they will tell them that she just got married. She asks if Guru ji is coming. Jhanak says yes. She goes and sees Anirudh. Gita asks her not to worry. Guru ji comes and the inspector starts questioning the people. Anirudh is shocked to see Guru ji. Pandit ji introduces Guru ji as Pandit Kul Bhushan. Anirudh thinks he has seen this man before and is sure he met him before or someone who looks like him.
Jhanak thinks how Anirudh is wandering to find her, and everything will get fine. She thought he couldn’t live without her, but he seems okay. Meenakshi asks why the girl is wearing a big ghunghat. Anirudh sees Jhanak. Meenakshi asks her to show her face. Pandit ji says no, she won’t lift her ghunghat. Anirudh asks what her name is. Pandit ji says she can’t tell her name, she got married a few days back. He calls a man and says he is her husband.
Anirudh thinks he wants to see her face but wonders how he can do that since she is someone else’s wife. He feels it’s Jhanak. Jhanak cries and thinks the old Jhanak is dead, she is Nutan now, and she is waiting to know her life’s secrets. Anirudh asks Guru ji about their meeting. Guru ji says he has been there for many years and this can’t be possible. He asks if Anirudh is searching for someone.
Anirudh says no and says they should leave now. They all leave. Jhanak lifts the ghunghat and looks on. At Bose house, everyone mourns Jhanak’s death. Aditya stays sad. Dadi says they will do everything needed for Jhanak’s soul’s peace. Pandit asks her not to worry. Vinayak says he had much hope from them and thought they would do good. Bablu says Anjana is broken and he is not able to handle her. He says Appu loved Jhanak a lot and is crying in her Sasural. They talk about Jhanak.
Mimi says they troubled Jhanak a lot and they shouldn’t have done that. Rumi asks her why she is showing sympathy. Arshi comes there and says she has seen Nutan’s big hoardings. She says she will go and see her show. They are saying she is a big dancer and her face is hidden. She says she doesn’t know what the mystery is. Lal says he has also seen the hoardings. Tanuja says Anirudh won’t leave her and will come back to her in the end.
Arshi says her dad also advised the same. She says the house looks lonely after her mom went to jail. Tanuja asks her not to talk about it in front of Aditya. Appu and Lalon come there. Appu cries a lot. Meenakshi consoles and hugs her. Lalon says Appu will fall sick if she stays upset and doesn’t eat food. Appu says she loves Jhanak a lot and asks why she left them and went away. Dadu consoles Appu. Choton says he can’t force Anirudh to come there. Aditya says Anirudh should be there.
Arshi says he is mentally upset and they shouldn’t call him there. Aditya scolds her. Dadu cries and says Anirudh is sitting alone in his room and has no courage to come there. Dadi argues with him and says Shrishti had to suffer a lot because of Jhanak. She asks if they think Shrishti is a murderer and stays angered. Dadu asks her to open her eyes and see the truth. Shubh tells him to stop saying all these things. Aditya goes to Anirudh. Anirudh sits crying. Aditya also gets sad and walks to him.
He sits by Anirudh’s side and says he should come out and perform the rituals for Jhanak’s soul’s peace. Anirudh says he has no work to do now. Jhanak is dead and he didn’t do anything for her when she was alive. Aditya asks if he can forget her. Anirudh says never. Aditya says that’s why he is asking him to come out because it is important.
