Mrinalini comes home and talks to everyone. She says she has news— the commissioner had called her. She visited his office, and they might have found Jhanak’s body. They got the Sadhu’s details, their ashram, and a new girl had arrived there that same day. The Sadhus saved that girl. If we believe it, then she could be Jhanak. But how did she reach there? If they saved her, then…
Anirudh says he will go to the ashram right away. Vinayak says he believes in miracles and will go and pick Jhanak. Meenakshi says the police are finding the missing link and that she will go with them, inviting Anirudh along. Anjana says she will pray for Jhanak’s survival. Bipasha says they saw her photo and she looked dead. Choton says if Jhanak is alive, then there will be a problem.
Anirudh says they should go to the commissioner and call Lalon as well. Meenakshi says they don’t have more information, and they should wait one more day and go there in the morning. Anirudh prays for Jhanak’s survival. Meanwhile, Shrishti denies the blame in court and answers the questions. Her lawyer defends her.
Meenakshi advises Anirudh to be patient and suggests the girl might not be Jhanak. If she is, then why hasn’t she contacted them? Everyone discusses Jhanak. The judge speaks to the inspector about the case. The inspector says they have proof against Shrishti and shows it. He says he needs time to collect more evidence because if Shrishti remains free, she could tamper with it. The judge agrees to take a break before the final decision.
Arshi sees the news of Shrishti’s arrest and cries. She says that she and her mother don’t deserve this, and it’s all happening because of Jhanak. Vinayak consoles her and tells her to accept the truth, reminding her that her mother was involved. The next morning, Jhanak dances. Guru ji watches and smiles, saying no one can defeat her. He tells her that she has many enemies and must now hide her identity. He asks her to wear old clothes to remain hidden and gives her the new identity of Notun.
Vinayak tells Arshi that her mother shared everything with her. Arshi asks if he’s suggesting that she and her mother planned to kill Jhanak. He says he doesn’t know but was happy that she and Anirudh were planning to go abroad. He advises her not to worry, and that if Shrishti is innocent, nothing wrong will happen. He offers to take her back to Anirudh’s house, but she refuses.
Guru ji asks Jhanak if her mother danced in her final days. Jhanak says she only saw her mother dancing once as a child in a locked room. She asks if Guru ji knows her background, since he used to teach her mother and must know her father too. Guru ji admits he knows but refuses to tell her. She says she can’t die without knowing who her father is and wants to ask him why he hurt her mother. Vinayak tells Arshi that she should be with Anirudh, but Arshi says she can’t help him.
Guru ji asks Jhanak what she will do now. Jhanak replies that she will force her father to accept her because it’s important for her mother’s lost respect. Her mother was insulted after he left her and ended her life. Jhanak says she will never call him her father. Guru ji asks why she wants to know then. She says she wants to reject him just like he rejected them. She will never accept him. Vinayak tries to explain to Arshi again. Arshi says she will make Anirudh’s life hell and won’t separate from him now that Jhanak is gone. She says her life is ruined. He offers to drop her there and asks her to understand.
Jhanak insists she’s not illegitimate. She heard that her parents got married. Guru ji confirms they were married. She asks if her father was a dancer and if he is still alive. Guru ji says yes. He advises her to focus on dance. He promises to tell her the truth at the right time, and then she can punish her father—he’ll accept it. She asks for his name, but Guru ji refuses.
Pandit ji arrives and asks about the dance practice. Jhanak says they were practicing, but Guru ji won’t tell her about her father. Pandit ji says there must be a good reason. Then he warns that the police are coming, maybe because they know the ashram saved her. He advises her to deny everything if questioned. She agrees that no one should know she’s alive. If anyone asks her name, she should say it’s Notun.
