Jhanak sees Guru Ji and says, “You….” Anirudh comes downstairs and argues with Arshi. Arshi says they can’t keep Shrishti there for long; she will hopefully get bail. Choton says Jhanak is no more, but she was truthful, and that’s why this is happening. Arshi disagrees and says they are the ones doing all this. He asks if they can force the police to do such things.
Anjana asks Choton to let it go. Arshi tells her to shut up. Bablu intervenes and asks how she dares to speak to Anjana like that. He says that just because they are poor doesn’t mean they are dependent on her for anything. Shubh interrupts. Bablu says the truth is clear and the culprit will be caught. Tanuja taunts them. Anjana replies to her. Arshi argues with Choton and says if Tejas did anything, it’s not her mom’s fault.
Pandit Ji tells Jhanak that she had lost her memory, but the medicines worked. They didn’t know her name, so they named her Notun. He says it is his wish that she stays there with her new name. Jhanak says no, she wants to go home. Guru Ji asks where she wants to go—Mumbai or somewhere else. Jhanak says no, he might be fine by now, and he will be heartbroken by the news of her death. She says it’s better to erase the name “Jhanak,” and she wants to be called by her new name. She then asks how they know her mother.
Pandit Ji says her mother was a good dancer and learned dance from Guru Ji. Jhanak says his face matches Pandit Brij Bhushan. Guru Ji reveals that Brij Bhushan is his twin brother, and his real name is Kul Bhushan. He says Kul Bhushan stole his identity.
Jhanak asks what he means. Pandit Ji says she hasn’t recovered completely, so she shouldn’t know everything right now, but assures her they won’t let any harm come to her. Guru Ji asks where Urvashi is. Jhanak says she is no more.
Anirudh says the police didn’t reveal anything, but he knows Shrishti is involved. If the police arrested her, there must be a reason. Arshi asks if he is happy now. He says no, he is ashamed of his relationship with her and fears people will judge him for knowing her mother. Arshi taunts him, saying he should stay at home and fight everyone for Jhanak’s sake, and asks if he plans to lose his job too. He says it’s fine; he doesn’t feel like living.
They argue. Anuradha asks Lalon to calm down. Everyone feels sad about Jhanak’s supposed death. Lalon says they know who is responsible, but they can’t do anything. Appu says Arshi and Shrishti killed Jhanak. She says justice doesn’t exist, the culprits may get punished but Jhanak won’t come back. She cries.
Jhanak sees Guru Ji crying and asks why he is crying. Pandit Ji says Urvashi was his best student. Jhanak says everyone forced Urvashi to commit suicide. She used to talk about her Guru Ji, Brij Bhushan. She asks why Urvashi didn’t recognize Kul Bhushan and how she got cheated.
Pandit Ji says they told her so she would know. He explains that the brothers looked the same and that he knows them well because he’s their childhood friend. He says there is a mole behind Kul Bhushan’s ear. Jhanak asks why his brother did this. Guru Ji says he must have had some personal gain and asks Jhanak if she wants to expose them. She says yes.
Pandit Ji says they want to organize her dance program. She declines, saying she doesn’t want to dance. Guru Ji explains that they want to expose the truth, and Kul Bhushan and other influential people will attend the big event in Kolkata. She refuses, saying she can’t reveal to the Bose family that she is alive.
He says they won’t use her real name and asks why she wants to hide when she has nothing to gain or lose. Anirudh says no one understands Jhanak’s pain, but he wants to feel it. He says everyone has hurt him. Appu explains to Anuradha and Lalon that Jhanak can never return, just like their father. She cries. Lalon consoles her.
Shubh declares that he won’t give money to Choton and Bablu anymore. Bablu says they will die of hunger if needed but won’t stay silent about Jhanak’s death. He says they don’t need Shubh’s money and will leave the house. Shubh tells them to leave. Choton says it’s their father’s house, and they won’t leave unless he tells them to.
Pandit Ji says the dance program is important to find out who murdered her mother. He asks if she doesn’t want to know who her real father is. Jhanak says yes, she wants to know. She asks if he knows who hurt her mother like that. She says everyone gave her sorrow, and even her Guru Ji hurt her at Shrishti’s request.Pandit Ji says there is a big truth behind it and that it could lead her to her father.
