Renuka questions Sayali for not doing any work. Sayali takes a stand for herself, which shocks Renuka. A few hours ago, Renuka said to Paresh that they shouldn’t interfere between a mother and daughter. She then insists Mamta give whatever she wants to give to Riya. Mamta gives Riya’s jewellery to her. Renuka takes it from her. Paresh says that he feels it looks like dahej. Mamta says it’s just love for Riya. She then says that Roshni must have come to this house with lots of jewellery.
Roshni gets tensed. But Renuka praises Roshni and her family. Mamta inquires with Renuka about Sayali. Renuka insults Sayali and her family, saying they can’t afford all this. Paresh warns Renuka. Renuka badly criticises Sayali and her family. She also shares the story with Mamta about Sayali becoming their daughter-in-law. Paresh questions Renuka for bringing Sayali’s late father into all this.
Renuka says that Sayali’s father made the mistake of dying by falling in front of his train, which is why they have to tolerate some people’s presence in their house. Akash and Riya stare at each other with worry-filled faces. Sayali goes inside the room and cries. Renuka smirks. Later, Sayali is sitting in the house temple. Renuka questions her and demands that she do the household chores. Sayali asks Renuka to ask someone else to do the work, saying that she isn’t here to do household chores.
Renuka is surprised to see Sayali’s behaviour. So, she warns Sayali. Sayali questions Renuka for always insulting her even after doing all the work. Just then, Akash and Riya arrive there. They take Sayali’s side and question Renuka’s behaviour towards her. Renuka tries to manipulate Riya, but Sayali intervenes and takes a stand for herself against Renuka’s misconduct.
Both Roshni and Tejash also arrive there. Roshni questions Sayali for her behaviour towards Renuka, but Sayali warns her not to interfere in this. Roshni gets shocked. Paresh arrives there, and he questions Sayali. Sayali tells him that she has tolerated Renuka’s insults, but now she can’t because Renuka is unnecessarily dragging her late father into all this.
Akash, Riya, and Paresh take Sayali’s side, saying that whatever Renuka has done to Sayali isn’t right. Renuka defends herself. She also questions Paresh for choosing Sayali as their daughter-in-law, someone who doesn’t know how to behave with family members. Paresh firmly tells Renuka that her behaviour towards Sayali is wrong.
Also, respect should be earned. Renuka remains stubborn, saying that whatever she has done is right. Sayali reminds Renuka about her engagement with Tejash. Renuka becomes silent. Tejash asks Sayali not to create unnecessary scenes, but Akash and Riya intervene and say that Renuka is at fault. Renuka gets shocked. She tries to manipulate Riya, which leads to an argument between her and Sayali.
Renuka continues her insults towards Sayali, so the latter locks herself in the room. Renuka demands Sayali open the door, but Paresh reminds her about his advice to treat their daughter-in-laws equally. Renuka defends her act. Sayali comes out of her room and returns the jewellery to Renuka, which shocks everyone.
Sachin arrives there. He learns about Renuka’s behaviour, so he questions Renuka, but she remains silent. He then tries to convince Sayali to keep the jewellery with her, but Sayali remains firm in her decision. So, Renuka demands Sayali return the nuptial chain, too. Sayali says that she knew Renuka would do this, and then she showed the nuptial chain, saying she doesn’t want anything from Renuka. The entire family looks shocked.
