Team Alexa & Lemuel Make A Shocking Discovery. Carlos & Leona Face The Media. Another Revelation Unfolds As Nico Visits Chiara.
The episode begins with Chiara being rushed to the hospital for treatment. Carlos gets pretty worked up over his daughter’s condition and when he sets eyes on Leona, he throws a fit and curses at her.
Aidan and co strive to keep him from laying his hands on her. Posing as a homeless man, Max sneaks up on Lemuel inside his car and demands for Lala’s whereabouts. Lemuel says he would text him the address.
In order for the chief not to suspect anything, Lemuel makes it seem like the “homeless man” is his informant. Carlos has a talk with Feliz about Leona’s treatment of Chiara. Nico gets worked up to learn of Chiara’s accident.
Meanwhile, Lemuel takes Alexa and Max to the place he had kept Lala. He recounts how he had planted cameras on chief Isidro’s car after seeing suspicious things in his car. A moment later, they watch the CCTV footage and they see the chief burning a sack outside his house, supposedly containing Olivia’s remains.
Alexa breaks down and vows to make them all pay. Lemuel is shocked at his godfather’s actions. He promises to help Alexa all the way to attain justice. When Chiara regains consciousness, Carlos feeds her some stories to explain Leona’s treatment of her.
Chiara says he can’t hide the fact that her mother hates her and Carlos tries to convince her otherwise. Upon getting home, Mila has another argument with Aidan for ignoring his calls. She then comes to learn of Chiara’s accident.
Nico comes to see Chiara with a bouquet of flowers. She questions him for ghosting her and lashes out at him. She however thanks him for the flowers and Nico states that a nurse had given it to him. Chiara finds a note in the flowers which claims that Leona isn’t her biological mother.
This gets her riled up. Carlos and Leona have an interview at the hospital to improve their reputation following the recent incidents. Inclined to believe the note, Chiara asks Nico to help her find her real mother.
Aidan actually asks Abe to report to him wherever Mila goes. Speaking of, Mila has a talk with Feliz about Chiara. Feliz relates with Chiara and Mila is surprised when she makes a questionable comparison – are they really their mother’s daughters? Read Next Episode on Dirty Linen Episode 52
