Ador Pulls A Fast One On Cielo, Discovering Another Secret. Lemuel Obtains Crucial Evidence. Alexa Uncovers The Shocking Truth About Chiara.
Lemuel tells his mother about how the chief had made him take a leave following their falling out. Pillar admonishes him and when she learns that her son is going to meet someone, she begins grilling him for information.
Lemuel receives a phone call from Meneses, telling him that he’s found a copy of the CCTV footage. The nurse taking care of Dona Cielo knocks her out with a sedative, acting on Ador’s orders.
Once the old woman is out of it, Ador sneaks into her room and begins searching the place. He refrains himself from touching the jewelry and bundles of cash in her safe. Eventually, Ador finds the document he’s been looking for and he’s shocked to uncover another dirty secret;
Cielo had been disinherited by her husband because she had deceived him into believing that Feliz was his daughter. Lemuel shows the CCTV footage to Alexa and her allies. It’s a video of the night the Fiero workers had disappeared.
Alexa and co are surprised to see Feliz handling a newborn baby. Over the phone, Nico tells Alexa about Olga’s note to Chiara claiming that she isn’t Leona’s real daughter. Alexa informs Lemuel. Mila tries in vain to convince Aidan that they should move to La Muerte for their peace of mind.
Lemuel manages to get a copy of Chiara’s birth certificate and he’s surprised to find out that she had been registered a year late. In no time, he notifies Alexa through text and phone call, oblivious to the fact that Aidan has begun spying on her.
Disregarding his father’s worries, Nico decides to help Chiara get to the truth of her birth. Interestingly, Alexa sneaks into Chiara’s room to grab a strand of her hair for a DNA test. Lemuel tries in vain to convince the chief to put him back on the triple mûrdër case.
A moment later, Carlos calls Isidro on the phone and he assures him that the evidence related to Olivia has been burned to ashes. It is revealed that Max and Lala had sneaked into the chief’s house and taken some of Olivia’s ashes, giving Alexa the chance to say her final goodbyes to her mother.
