Anuradha performs Appu’s aarti and asks Kajal to stay back for food. Kajal says she is feeling sleepy and has to go to school. Anuradha tells her not to go to school for two days. Lalon asks Kajal to take leave and enjoy the party, but Kajal replies that her work is her party. Lalon finds her words strange.
Appu walks inside, and Chimli asks Lalon to give them money before coming in. Lalon agrees, and Anuradha and Appu also demand money from him. Everyone smiles and compliments Appu. Chimli asks for 5000 rupees, but Lalon refuses, offering only 2500. They insist on 5000, and Appu agrees. Lalon gives them the money, and Appu tells them to enjoy the party.
Kajal says they should let everyone rest and decides to leave, but Anuradha reminds her that the rasams are still left. A guest suggests that Lalon and Appu should sing. Anuradha informs them that relatives are coming, but Appu says she feels sleepy. Anuradha tells her she can sleep after the rasams. Kajal insists that only the bride’s family should stay awake, not the groom’s.
Lalon says he is not sleepy and asks Appu to rest. Anuradha invites everyone to have food at her house. A lady comments that Appu looks good but heard she is unwell. Lalon tells her that he is grateful she doesn’t find flaws in Appu, unlike her own family, who think she isn’t fine. He admits she is a little sick but is the first to show affection. Kajal taunts him.
Lalon says he knows Appu’s qualities well, which is why he brought her into his life, as she has a pure heart. Anuradha asks Chimli to bring sweets, and Appu offers them to everyone. Lalon mentions that their house is small and that Appu will need time to adjust. Appu assures him that she has no problem staying there. Anuradha blesses her.
Kajal tries to leave again, but Anuradha insists she eat before going. Kajal helps with the rasams, and Lalon also asks her to stay for food. Appu convinces Kajal, saying that everyone listens to her. Kajal agrees and calls Appu her sister, promising to recite poems and stories for her.
The next morning, Anuradha welcomes Choton and Jhanak. Jhanak informs them that she is leaving for Mumbai today but wanted to meet them before leaving. Choton says she has work there. Lalon reminds Jhanak that she invited them to Mumbai and that they will visit with Appu.
Jhanak agrees and advises Lalon to find out who tried to frame him. Lalon dismisses it, saying he has work to do. Choton tells Lalon that he is there to help, reminding him that the commissioner saved him yesterday, or he would have been in trouble. Anuradha says Lalon’s father helped many people, so they received timely help.
She had already asked for an investigation into the culprits. Lalon says he will deal with it later. A girl informs them that Appu is getting ready, and Anuradha says Kajal went to wake her up. Choton tells Anuradha she can still change Appu if she wants, but she refuses, saying Appu is kind-hearted and has even befriended Kajal. She doesn’t want to change her. Choton says Jhanak should meet Appu before leaving.
Anirudh and Mrinalini arrive. Anirudh introduces Mrinalini, and Jhanak hugs her, saying it’s good that she came because Appu was crying, wanting to meet her. She teases Mrinalini about Choton. Mrinalini says she came because she cares about everyone and asks where Appu is. Appu arrives and asks if she looks good. She hugs Choton and the others. Anirudh gives her a chocolate. Appu asks Mrinalini why she didn’t come to her wedding. Mrinalini apologizes and hugs her.
Kajal tells Appu to be happy now that her family has arrived. Appu says she felt upset because she didn’t see her mother’s face in the morning, thinking her mother must be sad too. Choton assures her that her mother will visit soon. Anuradha informs them that Meghla and Adrija are coming, as Meghla’s father was Pranay’s friend, and her parents will visit in the evening. Appu tells Jhanak and Mrinalini that they are not allowed to leave.
Meghla and Adrija arrive. Lalon remembers Meghla as a good singer. Anuradha introduces them to Appu’s family. Meghla feels she has seen Jhanak before. Appu tells her that Jhanak appears on TV. Meghla recalls seeing her in an ad. Adrija asks Jhanak about the competition she lost. Jhanak remembers it and says Arshi was the winner, while she had lost. Meghla praises Jhanak’s dancing and requests a performance. Jhanak agrees but asks Meghla to sing first. Meghla agrees, and Mrinalini also supports the idea. Meghla starts singing, and Jhanak prepares to dance.
