Roshni says she is making healthy dry fruit milk. Renu smiles. Tejas gets ready for work and says he will have ABC juice when he returns. Roshni praises him for being dedicated to his job, saying he will earn a big name. Renu agrees. Tejas asks for his tiffin. Renu tells him it’s ready, and he leaves.
Meanwhile, a man looks at Roshni’s pictures with Krish and Supriya before arriving at their home. He announces a courier for Roshni. Sayali calls out to her, but Renu says she is busy. Sayali insists, saying it is an important parcel. Renu assumes it must be a gift from Roshni’s father. The man, however, says Roshni must personally sign for it. Renu asks her to take it.
As Roshni takes the envelope, Renu excitedly asks her to check what her father has sent. Roshni, playing along, asks Renu to stir the milk, but Renu passes the task to Sayali instead. Sayali goes to the stove while Roshni opens the envelope. She pretends it is just an ATM card she applied for. Renu, unimpressed, leaves. Just then, Tejas returns, realizing he forgot his phone. The delivery man urges Roshni to check the envelope properly.
She is shocked to find family pictures inside. The man connects her to Dinesh, who blackmails her for money. Roshni pleads that she doesn’t have any, but he gives her a deadline until tomorrow. The man leaves. Sayali approaches Roshni and cryptically asks whether she should tell Renu or if Roshni wants to. However, she quickly changes the subject to making upma.
Roshni realizes she didn’t overhear anything and casually agrees, asking her to add ghee. As she walks away, Tejas enters and notices Roshni looking tense. He asks why she looks worried. She, in turn, asks why he came back. He reminds her that he forgot his phone and is about to leave when she asks when he will get his sales bonus.
Tejas, surprised, asks why she needs to know. She tells him she wants to give a bonus to the staff. Renu overhears the conversation. Tejas replies that he is still new to the job and is unsure if he will get a bonus, but he will ask. She thanks him. Renu, suspicious, remarks that she never expected Roshni to ask for money.
She then scolds Tejas, telling him to find a job. Tejas complains that Roshni is putting pressure on him. Renu reminds him that she is his wife and that it’s his responsibility. He asks how he is supposed to give a bonus when he has no job. Renu tells him not to worry—she will handle things.
Meanwhile, Sachin is out with his friends. He refuses to eat at home, drinking multiple cups of tea instead. He complains of a headache and says he will have vada pav. Sayali arrives with food and insists he eat. However, Sachin refuses to speak to her directly, communicating only through Anya.
Sayali remains persistent. Sachin stays firm, saying he won’t give in. Sayali insists he eat, but he tells her to leave. At home, Shakku hands Renu ₹25,000. Renu thanks her, promising to return the money once Tejas gets a job. She laments that she has been unable to save anything. Shakku cryptically says that Renu has a “golden hen.”
Curious, Renu asks what she means. Shakku reveals that Joy owns an ancestral bungalow and that Riya is wealthier than Roshni. Renu is shocked. Shakku continues, explaining that Joy invested in properties and has a lot of money. She advises Renu to bring Akash and Riya into the family; otherwise, Akash might slip away. Renu agrees but wonders how to convince Sachin and Paresh.
Shakku tells her to bring Riya home before Akash becomes a ghar jamai (a son-in-law who stays at his wife’s home). Meanwhile, Sayali showcases the food she has prepared. Anya and Manya love the dishes, but Sachin still refuses to eat. His friend, however, eagerly sits down to enjoy the meal. Sayali comments that since Sachin doesn’t want to eat, someone else might as well enjoy it.
