Anupama tells Anuj that he waited for her for 26 years and loved her deeply, something she could never have imagined. However, she says that once they were together, their daily struggles, troubles, and fights overshadowed those 26 years of love. She accuses him of rushing into marriage with his long-lost love and compares their relationship to a broken glass—if she tries to fix it, she will only hurt herself.
She asks why they need to define their relationship, admitting that she loves him but cannot bear to hurt Aadhya or him. She confesses that she cannot stand seeing him upset or witnessing hatred in Aadhya’s eyes. She is afraid—not just of marriage but of herself—and she apologizes before breaking down in tears.
Anuj, understanding her turmoil, also apologizes. He says he shouldn’t have brought up the subject, but he only spoke because she asked him to. He reminds her that if she has the right to refuse, then he has the right to wait for her—even for seven lifetimes if needed. He considers this patience as Kanha Ji’s blessing and vows not to stop waiting.
He declares that whether she stays with him or not, he will always be prepared as a groom, with sindoor in hand, ready to stand at her doorstep when she agrees. He reassures her that they don’t need to rush into marriage and that Anuj will always be there for Anu with open arms. Anupama, overwhelmed, hugs him. Anuj teases her, calling her a strange woman, and confidently says that one day, she will agree to marriage. He suggests that they remain as boyfriend and girlfriend and make the world jealous.
Anupama is surprised by his lightheartedness and admits she didn’t expect him to say such things. Anuj reminds her of the dramatic scene she left outside and urges her to step out with him. Meanwhile, Sagar is crying, regretting not telling Anupama about his relationship with Meenu earlier. Anupama approaches him, and Sagar immediately apologizes.
She asks him to swear truthfully on her head that he will always keep Meenu happy, respect her family, and make himself worthy of her. Sagar solemnly swears on her and his love, promising to fulfill every expectation. Anupama advises them both to wait until they have established their careers. Sagar touches her feet in gratitude.

The next morning, everyone wakes up to the song Dulhe Ke Sehra. Anupama brings Sagar and Meenu into the house. Dolly, confused, asks what is happening. Anupama reminds everyone of the chaos from the previous day—arguments, tears, and fights—but says that one matter remained unresolved: the theft. She claims that while someone else attempted to steal, the blame was placed on another.
Baa immediately asks who tried to steal her jewelry. Anupama drops a shocking revelation—Toshu. Toshu, in disbelief, asks how she can accuse him without proof. Anupama replies that if she had proof, he would already be in jail. She explains that Sagar only went to that side of the house to get a pillow, and Meenu went to fetch cough syrup. However, Toshu, who claimed he went to get a mosquito bat, actually went there to steal.
