Anjana applies haldi to Appu and expresses her happiness, saying that Lalon is a nice guy who will love Appu a lot. Bablu assures that he will earn money for Appu’s future. Meanwhile, Shubh tells Shrishti that his plan is ready, and she shouldn’t worry. Bablu wonders if Appu will be able to adjust in her new home and if Lalon’s love will be enough for her.
Anjana reassures him, saying Appu will find a heaven there. Shrishti, however, regrets her past decisions, saying that if she had known things would turn out like this, she wouldn’t have gotten Arshi married into this family. Tanuja reminds her to think about their family’s reputation.
Dadi and others apply haldi to Appu. Bipasha playfully asks Appu if she will sing for them. Appu agrees. Meanwhile, Arshi stops Mimi from applying haldi to her, complaining that she doesn’t want to walk around like a sunflower all day. Appu teases her, saying she has too many tantrums and should go live in London. Bipasha asks Appu to speak nicely. Shubh, lost in thought, plans to remove Lalon from his path, considering him a big threat.Lalon’s sister and friends arrive for the ceremony. Tanuja, Shubh, and Shrishti make comments about their clothing.
Chimli introduces herself to Appu as her Nanand. Appu curiously asks if Chimli will scare her or love her. Chimli smiles, and Appu says she seems very sweet and should shower her with love. Chimli assures her that their mother will feed her, while she herself will take care of her and even style her hair to make her look prettier. She also requests Appu to sing for her. Appu happily agrees.
Meanwhile, Jhanak, Anirudh, Choton, and Mrinalini return home. Shrishti questions where Jhanak and Anirudh had gone, suspecting they visited the locality. Tanuja believes Anirudh went there after Choton. Shrishti expresses her frustration, wondering how Anirudh can tolerate Jhanak, fearing that Arshi will be angry if she sees them together.
Arshi confronts Anirudh, starting an argument before storming off. Shrishti continues questioning Anirudh about his whereabouts with Jhanak, but he refuses to answer, saying he already gave Arshi an explanation and doesn’t feel the need to explain himself to anyone else. Shubh chimes in, suggesting that Anirudh had gone to call Choton, to which Anirudh confirms. Shrishti remains displeased.
As the celebrations continue, Anjana sings Banno Rani and dances joyfully with Appu and Jhanak. Dadi joins in the singing. Everyone claps along, and Mimi encourages Appu to sing as well. Appu sings beautifully, and the family applauds her performance. Anirudh arrives, and Appu stops him along with Jhanak. Jhanak, uncomfortable, pleads with Appu to let go of her hand, warning that she will leave the house if forced into an awkward situation. Appu scolds her in response.
As Anirudh and Jhanak move, they collide with each other, leading to an argument between them. Anirudh walks away angrily. Jhanak, watching him leave, sighs and says that he will remain upset as long as she is there. However, she refuses to leave Appu’s wedding. Mrinalini tries to comfort her, saying that men are all the same. Jhanak disagrees, politely refusing to believe that sentiment.
The pre-wedding rituals continue. Jhanak advises Mrinalini to confess her feelings to Choton, but Mrinalini refuses, saying she won’t ask him to marry her. Jhanak, determined, smiles and says that if Mrinalini won’t take action, then she will. She confidently states that she doesn’t follow orders; she does what she believes is right. She assures Mrinalini to leave everything to her now.
