Jhanak thanks Mrinalini for offering her house for Appu’s wedding. Mrinalini asks if she came for some other reason. Jhanak replies that she will talk about it later and asks if Choton can come there. Mrinalini says she has no problem with it. Anjana tells Jhanak that she is still a child at heart and questions if she will make Choton sit outside. Mrinalini brushes it off and offers to make tea. Jhanak insists on making it, but Mrinalini goes ahead. Choton refuses to have tea, and she leaves.
Anjana scolds Choton for hurting Mrinalini’s feelings. Choton defends himself, saying he refused marriage for her own good. Anjana questions if he loves her. Choton replies that love holds no value for a person like him, and he has no right to love. Later, Anjana, Jhanak, and Choton return home from shopping. Anjana informs everyone that Jhanak has bought things for Appu.
Bipasha taunts her, but Bablu supports Jhanak, saying she would have done her duty regardless. He emphasizes that Appu is their elder daughter, and they consider Jhanak their younger daughter. Dadi scolds him for this. Lal and Bipasha argue with Choton and Anjana. Jhanak informs them that she spoke to Mrinalini, who agreed to host Appu’s wedding at her house. Bablu invites everyone to the wedding.
Arshi then asks Jhanak when she plans to leave. Jhanak replies that she will leave after Appu’s wedding. Just then, Anirudh arrives, and Arshi asks him to drop her home. She complains that Jhanak is making a scene, and the family is supporting her. Lal taunts Jhanak, and Dadi scolds her, accusing her of always finding excuses to return home. Anirudh and Jhanak argue. Shubh complains about Jhanak’s behavior.
Jhanak challenges Anirudh to throw her out if he wants. Bipasha provokes the situation further, reminding Jhanak that she was in a live-in relationship with someone else and has no right to blame Anirudh. She asks if Jhanak isn’t ashamed. Anirudh coldly states that he doesn’t consider Jhanak anything anymore; she has lost her place in his life, and he sees no goodness in her.
Choton sarcastically remarks that Anirudh is too clever to ruin his life. Anirudh, frustrated, asks if Choton believes Jhanak’s claims. Choton admits he trusts both Anirudh and Jhanak equally. Bipasha pressures him to pick a side. Bablu firmly declares that he trusts Jhanak more than Anirudh. Shubh advises Anirudh to learn from life’s lessons. Tanuja coldly states that the family has chosen Jhanak over him. Anirudh, hurt, says he is upset that they don’t trust him.
Bablu clarifies that he trusts Jhanak because she has no intention of framing Anirudh. He reminds Anirudh that he once believed Jhanak could never do wrong. Arshi insists that Jhanak is framing Anirudh. She declares that if Jhanak is telling the truth, she has no reason to stay in that house. Anirudh, frustrated, says Jhanak is lying but doesn’t know how to prove it.
Jhanak, however, challenges Arshi, saying she can make her the villain if she wants, but deep down, Arshi knows the truth. Arshi furiously tells Jhanak to shut up. Anirudh assures Arshi that he won’t let Jhanak come between them. Jhanak, determined, declares that her baby will get its rightful place, and she will prove it.
Arshi, distressed, asks Anirudh to make Jhanak stop. Lal and Bipasha try to calm Arshi down, telling her not to pay attention to Jhanak. Bablu blesses Jhanak, expressing his hope that she can prove the truth one day. Jhanak thanks him. Dadi says she will attend Appu’s wedding to bless her. However, Shubh declares that the rest of them won’t go.
Tanuja adds that they should put an end to this matter. Bipasha and Lal also refuse to attend. Choton criticizes them for doing nothing for Appu. Anirudh, however, states that he will attend the wedding, no matter where it is. He wants to see Appu happy. He acknowledges that Lalon doesn’t earn much, but that is not a crime. He wonders if they ever offered him financial help.
Even though Lalon might refuse assistance, Anirudh still wants to be there for Appu’s happiness. Arshi objects, saying she doesn’t want Anirudh to be there with Jhanak. Anirudh suggests that she come along, but Arshi refuses, saying the wedding isn’t up to her standards. Anirudh tells her he won’t force her, but he has made up his mind—he will attend the wedding because he loves Appu.
