Anupama tells Babu Ji that they are going to the hotel to deliver the stuff. She instructs him that if anyone shows tantrums, he should hold their ears or head and throw them out without waiting for her to come back, as there was always peace in Asha Bhavan. Anuj, Anupama, Aadhya, and Indra leave.
Nandita sits on the chair in front of Dimpy. The manager informs Toshu and Pakhi that their payment has been declined due to an issue with the card. They ask him to check again, but after three attempts, he confirms the problem persists. Pakhi tells him that they will change and come down to pay with her card. The manager agrees and leaves.
Once alone, Pakhi admits she doesn’t have her card with her as it is in Asha Bhavan. Even if she had it, she wouldn’t be able to pay since her bank account is empty. They imagine themselves washing utensils and immediately reject the idea. They try calling their friends for money.Meanwhile, Anupama asks Anuj how they will travel as the auto is full. Anuj laughs and assures her they will manage. She asks if she has to sit with the driver.
Anuj teases her, saying it’s illegal to sit with the driver; otherwise, he wouldn’t miss the chance to romance her. He apologizes and says Sagar will take the auto. Anupama suggests they take Pawan’s bike instead. Anuj, reminiscing about old memories, agrees. They sit on the bike and leave. Back at the hotel, Pakhi comes up with a plan to pretend they are going to the spa or pool and then escape.
Toshu questions the plan, noting they’d be caught on camera. He suggests escaping through the window, but Pakhi reminds him they are on the seventh floor and could die. She insists her idea is better. Dimpy suggests to Baa that they should go to Jamnagar. Baa refuses, saying she won’t leave her husband behind. Dimpy proposes taking their husbands along, but Baa insists they won’t come and tells Dimpy to go alone.
Dimpy accuses Baa of once speaking ill of Anupama but now acting as her puppet. Baa clarifies that there is a difference between self-respect and arrogance. She says she is not like Toshu, Pakhi, or Dimpy. She reminds Dimpy that they had a house but lost it, and now they are living in a rented place. She believes this is karma for the bad things she said to Anupama.
Baa states that even she doesn’t want to stay there, but she has two choices: either live on the streets or stay with her husband. She confirms she will stay. She advises Dimpy to make arrangements for herself, Toshu, and Pakhi and let them live peacefully. Dimpy leaves, upset. Anuj and Anupama enjoy their bike ride. Anupama’s hair opens due to the wind, and Anuj playfully makes her pallu fly. She holds onto him as they ride. Upon reaching the hotel, Anupama realizes her hair has opened.
Anuj ties a handkerchief to her hair and reminisces about college days when girls used to tie matching hairbands, except for one girl. He tells her she looks lovely. Meanwhile, Pakhi and Toshu try to sneak out of their hotel room but run into the manager, who chases them. They trip and fall at Anupama’s feet. Anupama tells them to get up and look at their faces. Embarrassed, they run away. Anupama calls the manager.
Elsewhere, Meenu falls on Sagar, and they share a romantic moment. Baa and Dolly arrive, forcing Sagar and Meenu to hide. Baa adjusts the bedsheet and leaves when Babu Ji calls her. Meenu and Sagar decide to talk to Anupama.
Pakhi and Toshu are caught and forced to wash utensils. Toshu laments that their escape failed. Pakhi cries, and Anupama feels bad but is consoled by Anuj.
The manager arrives and thanks Anupama for getting them caught, saying they would have fled otherwise. He wonders who their parents are. Anupama sighs and says they received plenty of knowledge, yet they turned out this way. The manager is shocked that she turned them in despite knowing them.
Pakhi and Toshu overhear and are furious. Pakhi blames Anupama for their situation. Anupama retorts that it’s none of their business what she does and asks if running away without paying was the right thing to do. She reminds Pakhi that she had previously declared Anupama wasn’t her mother.
She tells the manager to make them work until their debt is cleared, or else call the police. The manager agrees. Toshu and Pakhi plead with Anupama to save them. Pakhi cries, saying she has washed many utensils already. Anupama warns the manager not to believe their acting. The manager, worried they might run again, decides to call the police.
Toshu and Pakhi beg Anupama to pay the bill, promising to return the money. Anupama tells the manager that their arrest would affect their family members, including their elderly grandparents and Toshu’s wife and daughter, but not them personally. The manager agrees not to involve the police.
Pakhi and Toshu curse Anupama, saying they never want a mother like her in their next life. Anupama prays to Kanha Ji not to give her children like them. She hands them ₹20 to buy tea and biscuits after finishing their work. Pakhi takes the money and cries, hugging Toshu. Anupama and Anuj leave. They reach a pani puri stall, and Anuj gets some for Anupama, but he realizes she is missing. Looking around, he spots her playing badminton.
