Aniruddha refuses to accept Jhanak’s child. He believes that she is trying to trap him and accuses her of snatching away his mental peace and stability. He recalls their time together in Kashmir but can not remember anything clearly. He starts believing that Jhanak and Aditya are working together to defame him.
Jhanak reminds him how she followed every instruction he gave and even declined her own marriage for his sake. But this time, she is fighting for her baby. She has accepted defeat many times in life, just like her mother, who was rejected by society and driven to attempt suicide. However, she refuses to let history repeat itself with her child and is determined to seek justice.
She reminds Aniruddha how he was sick in Kashmir and dragged her towards his bed. Aniruddha, furious, begins to suspect that the child belongs to Aditya and that Jhanak is only trying to use him as shelter. In anger, Jhanak challenges Aniruddha. Despite knowing the consequences, she is ready to fight.
She is even willing to seek legal help and go to any extent to get justice for her child. She asserts that she will ensure the baby receives their rightful identity. Aniruddha is shocked by her confidence. He questions why she didn’t resist when he dragged her toward him. Jhanak becomes emotional, expressing her deep feelings for Aniruddha. She confesses that her affection for him prevented her from resisting.
Later, Jhanak, Anjana, and Chhoton visit Mrinalini’s home to invite her to Appu’s wedding. While Mrinalini welcomes Jhanak and Anjana warmly, she does not even offer Chhoton a seat, still holding a grudge against him for insulting her in the past. Jhanak intervenes and tries to resolve the conflict between them.
After settling the matter, Anjana and Jhanak explain the difficult situation at home. Appu wants to celebrate all the wedding rituals properly. Anjana requests Mrinalini’s permission to host some rituals at her home. Excited, Mrinalini eagerly agrees and even offers to contribute financially using the money she had saved for herself.
Meanwhile, Shubha and Lal visit the police station seeking help. They explain how Lalan deceived and manipulated Appu into marrying him. The police assure them that Lalan will be arrested before the wedding ceremony. Shubha and Lal are advised to pretend that they have accepted the marriage and will support them until the police take action.
