Arshi tells Tanuja that she has decided to leave the house. Tanuja becomes very upset upon hearing this and tries to convince her that Jhanak has been manipulating Aniruddha’s innocence, insisting that he could never do such a thing. However, Arshi has lost all confidence in herself.
Meanwhile, Lal and Vipasha enter the room and inform them that Shubha has been gathering evidence to prove Jhanak’s fraud. Arshi, however, fears the consequences of this case. If the news leaks, her image and career will be ruined. At the same time, Shristi and Vinayak continue their dispute over the issue.
Shristi is furious, unable to believe that her daughter’s future is being destroyed because of Jhanak. On the other hand, Vinayak, who has always believed in Jhanak’s honesty, fears that she is telling the truth this time as well. Shristi compares Jhanak to her mother, Urvashi, who once tried to tarnish the reputation of Brij Bhushan, a renowned dancer.
Suddenly, a thought crosses Shristi’s mind—she suspects that Jhanak is carrying Aditya’s child but is deceiving everyone by implicating Aniruddha.
Arshi is questioned about Jhanak’s relationship with Aditya Kapoor. She claims that Jhanak shared a very intimate bond with Aditya, who would do anything at her command. Vipasha also begins to suspect that Jhanak and Aditya have been conspiring together to blackmail Aniruddha.
Tanuja and Vipasha try to console Arshi, but she is completely shattered. Determined to protect Aniruddha, Tanuja and Vipasha plan to dig into Jhanak’s past. Meanwhile, Shubho has already filed a case against her. The next day, Lalan arrives at the Bose house with his mother. She wants to meet Appu before finalizing the marriage between Lalan and Appu. They are welcomed by Appu’s parents, and even her grandparents receive them warmly.
However, Shubho is taken aback when he sees Lalan’s mother, Anuradha. He recalls an old enmity between himself and Lalan’s father. Worried that his hypocrisy will be exposed, he decides to stop the marriage at any cost. Shubho and Tanuja begin criticizing Lalan and Anuradha, claiming that they are trying to trap Appu. They are determined to prevent the wedding.
Vipasha taunts Lalan and his mother for not bringing gifts for them. Lalan, however, boldly protests against Vipasha and Lal’s words. Suddenly, Appu arrives and becomes excited to see Lalan and his mother. When asked if she is ready to marry a poor man like Lalan, she happily nods. Seeing this, Shubho, fearing exposure, vows to stop the marriage by any means necessary.
