Jhanak receives a call from Aditya. He says he has a proposal and that she may refuse it if she wants. He adds that he is waiting outside the hotel and reassures her that he is not coming to her room because he knows she has some allergies to him. She responds, “No.” He continues, asking if she trusts him enough to talk somewhere.
Jhanak asks where he wants to take her, urging him to tell her. He suggests that she get a nice dress, and she replies that she already has her clothes. Aditya insists he wants to take her to a party and that she should look presentable. Meanwhile, Anirudh tells Arshi to get ready quickly because it’s a special day and she has to look her best.
He reminds her that everyone will try to look their best as well. Arshi brings up Jhanak, mentioning that she doesn’t have a car and the party venue is far. She says she would have given Jhanak a lift if their relationship were better, but she knows someone else is there to take her. Anirudh agrees that Jhanak has many people who can offer her a lift.
Arshi notices that Anirudh seems upset about Jhanak and Aditya getting close. Anirudh brushes it off, saying he doesn’t want to think about her anymore. He acknowledges that Jhanak has finally decided what she wants and has become independent. If someone is guiding her, he believes it’s a good thing. Jhanak expresses her discomfort, saying, “Please.” Aditya responds, asking if she doesn’t think of him as a friend.
Jhanak insists that she doesn’t know him well enough and that they aren’t friends. He offers to let her return the cost of the dress when she gets money. Arshi interjects, saying whenever Jhanak hurts Aditya, he comes to her, and when misunderstandings are cleared, he distances himself. Aditya explains that he has been thinking about Arshi since morning and helped Jhanak because she was alone, asserting that there isn’t anything else to it.
Aditya asks Jhanak if she means she won’t go with him. Jhanak explains that she has little money and needs to be careful about spending it. Aditya offers to cover the costs, saying she can return it later because he wants her to look presentable. Jhanak firmly states that she will buy the dress with her own money and asks for some time. Aditya agrees to wait for her. A lady visits Appu. Appu asks if she has met Lalon, expressing her desire to see him because she believes she will get better when he comes.
Aditya tells Jhanak that they might become good friends. Jhanak says she will be right there. Aditya adds that he has something else to discuss; he won’t buy any gifts for her but wants to buy a dress. He assures her that he knows she doesn’t want a favor, but he asks for just one dress. Jhanak agrees to get ready and come. Aditya thanks her, and Arshi tells him she doesn’t want to discuss Jhanak.
Anirudh encourages Arshi to come with him, and she mentions she will tell her mother before joining him. She asks if he is doing this from the heart. Anirudh tells her to leave it, and when she continues pressing, he asks why Jhanak performed poorly. He recalls her previous performance and says he doesn’t know why she did that; maybe she simply doesn’t know how to dance well, unlike Arshi, who is a trained dancer.
Arshi expresses her happiness, stating that if this were a lie, then her victory would also be a lie. She suggests Jhanak may have intentionally let her win on Anirudh’s suggestion. He tells her she is overthinking it. Arshi smiles, teasing that Anirudh keeps a pillow between them while sleeping so he doesn’t hurt her. She hugs him and reassures him that she won’t misunderstand him. They decide to leave together.
Jhanak reflects that she regards Anirudh as her husband in her heart, even though it’s not true. She feels foolish for not thinking of going shopping with someone else, as her mother and Anirudh have always done shopping for her. She expresses that it feels strange, but she wants him to be happy. The lady mentions that Lalon will come and bring chocolates for Appu, who insists she won’t talk to him.
Anjana arrives, and Appu mentions that Lalon is coming. Anjana scolds the lady and Appu, to which Appu responds that she likes Lalon. Anirudh and Arshi reach the store, where a man recognizes Anirudh from the dance show. Anirudh asks him to show Jhanak some nice dresses for the party. The man presents several dresses for her to try. Arshi insists on trying on a dress too, saying she won’t buy a new one unless Jhanak matches with her. Anirudh agrees to this.
Aditya approaches Jhanak and asks if she is upset. Jhanak explains that she had no plans to buy clothes. Aditya offers her his extra money, insisting that her money is important to him, and encourages her to buy a dress. He reassures her to smile. Tanuja tells Appu to stop chanting Lalon’s name, while Anjana claims she can handle her. Bipasha argues that they can see how well Anjana is handling the situation.
The man asks Aditya if he came with this lady. Aditya mentions that the man must have seen Jhanak in the dance show. Anirudh overhears this and turns to look. Aditya urges Jhanak to listen to him and buy a nice dress. He asks the man to show the best and most expensive dresses available. The man asks Jhanak to choose a color, and she responds, “White.” Aditya confirms, “White? Okay.” Anirudh watches this unfold, feeling puzzled about why Jhanak is with Aditya, someone she doesn’t know well, while he is shopping for her.
