Savi feeds breakfast to Sai and tells her that a healthy breakfast can also be tasty. Tara and Lucky praise the kothimbir vada that Savi prepared. Rajendra asks maid Kavita to pack Savi and Sai’s tiffin. Bhagyashree gets upset that her son is hungry while tiffin is being served to the newcomer. Rajendra tells her to calm down. Savi walks down toward her car with Sai, telling her that her papa loves her but is busy at work.
She notices Rajat wearing fresh clothes and sipping black coffee, chatting on the phone with someone. A boy throws his football towards her by mistake and apologizes. She scolds the boy and throws the ball into the dirt, which splashes on Rajat, spoiling his dress. Rajat fumes while Savi enjoys seeing his condition. He splashes mud on her in return. Their mud-splashing game begins. Passersby enjoy watching and record their nok-jhok.
Sai joins them. Rajat plays with her at first but then stops, recalling Harsh’s taunts that Sai looks exactly like Ashika and has Arsh’s eyes and smile. Bhagyashree walks into the kitchen to prepare lunch for Rajat. Savi and Sai walk in, both covered in dirt. Bhagyashree nervously hides the vegetables and questions them. Savi takes Sai for a bath. Bhagyashree hurriedly prepares food and takes it to Rajat’s office.
The receptionist tells her that Rajat is in a meeting, so she can wait in his cabin. Bhagyashree walks into Rajat’s cabin and excitedly thinks of unpacking the food and surprising him when he returns. She notices a tiffin box with “breakfast, lunch, dinner” written on it and checks it. She finds homemade food and feels disappointed, thinking Savi stopped her from serving food to Rajat and sent him food instead.
Bhagyashree returns home, fuming at Savi. Savi and Sai return from school, and Savi promises to prepare waffles for her. Bhagyashree accuses Savi of trying to create differences in the family by stopping food from being served to Rajat and sending him tiffin herself. Rajendra warns Bhagyashree to behave with Savi.
Savi says she didn’t send tiffin to Rajat. In fact, he was wearing fresh clothes and having black coffee in the morning. Bhagyashree feels happy hearing that. Tara says Rajat has many admirers, and one of them must have helped him. After some time, Tara speaks to her husband Jigar over the phone and agrees to do as he says.
She informs the family that she is going to Canada to stay with her husband. Rajendra agrees to help her. Tara asks Bhagyashree to get her jewelry. Bhagyashree says she has kept the jewelry in a bank locker and suggests that Tara not take jewelry to a different country. Savi says there would be customs duty if she carries jewelry beyond the limit.
Tara shouts at Savi to mind her own business and insists that Bhagyashree get her jewelry. Sai insists that Savi prepare waffles for her. Savi finds the waffle maker is not working and goes to her parent’s house to borrow theirs. She notices Isha trying to prepare dhokla. Rajat walks in with Shantanu, thanking him for the food and help. Savi gets angry with her parents for helping Rajat.
Shantanu says Rajat is their son-in-law and they have the right to serve him food. Rajat says his in-laws are like his parents, and he has the right to visit them for food. Shantanu recalls why they helped Rajat. Savi says Rajat is a liar. He has been misbehaving with Sai recently, which is why Rajendra punished him by not allowing any help at home.
