Rajendra tongue lashes Rajat for his rude and unjustifiable behavior towards Sai. He says he thought that Rajat would reform himself after getting Sai’s custody, but he is the same as Arsh and Ashika, who consider Sai just a means of their victory. Rajat rudely walks away, saying they are exaggerating a simple issue.
Savi tells Bhagyashree that Rajat doesn’t even realize what he did. She is worried for Sai, who is in mental shock after her father’s misbehavior with her. She was hiding under the bed and was blabbering that she is a bad girl; she is still blaming herself. Bhagyashree says parents scolding children is normal. Her father used to beat her. Savi is trying to demonize Rajat.
Savi insists that Sai is not a normal kid; she has seen her parents’ fights and separation. Rajat should be careful, and instead, he is rude. She loves Sai and is worried for her. Bhagyashree tries to justify again. Rajendra stops them and says he is the head of this family, and he will sort out things. Rajat drives his car, recalling Arsh’s taunts and Rajendra’s confrontation.
He stops his car and, seeing a father-daughter duo having ice cream, recalls Sai’s love for him and Arsh claiming Sai’s paternity. He thinks nobody is understanding his state of mind. How can he inform his parents that Sai is not their biological granddaughter? They will break down if he informs them about it. A man knocks on his car and asks him to move as there is a traffic jam behind. Rajat drives away.
At night, Bhagyashree gets worried for Rajat when he doesn’t return home yet and prays to God to protect her son. Rajendra asks the family if everyone had dinner. Bhagyashree says yes, except Rajat. He asks Savi if she and Sai had dinner. Savi says yes. Rajendra asks the maid to have dinner and hand over the leftover food to the construction workers in the next building.
Bhagyashree insists that Rajat didn’t eat. Rajendra says they will not have any contact with Rajat after his misbehavior with the family and Sai. Nobody will help him with his chores until he realizes his mistake. Bhagyashree nods yes. Rajendra leaves. Tara blames Savi for spoiling their family environment and says they should keep quiet for some time, seeing Rajendra’s anger. Bhagyashree says she will do something, though.
Rajat returns home late at night and, seeing no one around, thinks it’s good to see peace at home. He feels hungry but doesn’t find food either on the dining table or in the fridge. He drinks water and walks to his room to find Savi and Sai sleeping on his bed. He frowns and lies on a couch, murmuring that he will not spare Savi. Savi opens her eyes and thinks she will punish him instead for misbehaving with her daughter.
The next morning, Rajat gets out of the bathroom and finds yesterday’s clothes to wear. He discovers #mission boycott rajat notes all over his bedroom and fumes at his family for thinking of punishing him. He walks down wearing yesterday’s clothes. Bhagyashree feels pity and thinks she should iron a shirt for her son.
Rajat sits for breakfast. The family ignores him. He asks the maid to serve him coffee. Rajendra asks her to bring tea. She obeys Rajendra instead. Savi offers him a coffee mug. He thinks she has come to her senses now, but he finds an empty cup with a message: #mission boycott rajat. He finds # even on the plate. Tara says their papa has started #mission boycott rajat on someone or Savi’s advice. He asks Bhagyashree if she also thinks the same. Bhagyashree gets a call and rushes away. Rajat leaves home angrily. Savi thinks he deserves punishment for his misbehavior.
Savi walks to Sai’s room with breakfast and finds her hiding again. She notices a black star on Sai’s hand. Sai says she is a bad girl and hence drew a black star on her hand. Savi tells her she is a good girl and deserves a golden star instead. Sai says she doesn’t want to attend school as her classmates bully her.
Savi fixes a golden star hairband in her hair and says nobody will bully her today. She teaches her mother’s mantra to ward off fear from her and takes her to school. During the staff meeting, Rajat gets lost in thought. The staff discusses that Rajat is wearing yesterday’s clothes and jokes about him. Rajat hears this and shouts at them. Aman wonders what happened to Rajat.
Savi tells the maid that she will feed soaked almonds to Sai and hopes she gets back to normal soon. Bhagyashree offers laddu to Rajendra. Rajendra says she knows he doesn’t have anything after dinner and that she is trying to butter him up for her son. She should realize that their Sai is upset because of her son. Bhagyashree agrees but says she wants to feed her son since he is hungry. A father can punish his son, but a mother can’t see her son hungry. Rajendra insists he is trying to make Rajat realize his mistake, but she doesn’t want her son to reform.
Rajat walks in, acting as though he is speaking over the phone with Aman and telling him that the Chinese food was really nice. He walks to his room, ignoring his parents. Bhagyashree cries that her son doesn’t like Chinese food, but he had it because of Rajendra. Rajendra says her son is just acting. Sai thinks about what kind of a man Rajat is, who doesn’t respect her father at all. She needs to teach him a lesson.
