Ashika messages Savi to meet her for 2 minutes. Savi shows the message to Rajat, who asks her to make her own decision. She meets Ashika, who asks why Savi married Rajat even after knowing his truth. Savi says she didn’t want to marry Rajat, but her concern for Sai made her marry him to protect Sai.
Ashika asks what she means. Savi explains that Ashika wouldn’t take care of her and would send her to a hostel like she sent Kian; Sai would be away from her family in that way. Rajat has a whole family that really loves Sai. Any branded clothes or gifts wouldn’t provide the love and happiness a child needs.
Ashika notices “Rajat’s bride” written on Savi’s bangles and laughs at her. She says she underestimated Savi; Savi played with her emotions, and her ultimate goal was to marry a rich divorcee. She calls Savi a gold digger. Savi replies that Ashika’s opinion doesn’t matter to her; Rajat is not important to her. Whatever she is doing is for Sai’s happiness. Arsh takes Sai to the washroom and hears their conversation.
The court hearing begins. The judge asks the lawyers to bring Sai to her cabin. She starts interacting with Sai, asking her name, her school name, etc. Then she asks if Sai wants to stay with her mamma or papa. Sai goes silent, making everyone nervous. Bhagyashree hopes she mentions her pari mamma’s name.
To everyone’s shock, Sai says she wants to stay with Ashika mamma, leaving Ashika and Harsh happy. The judge says she wants to talk to Ashika and Savi alone and will call Sai later. Ashika happily lifts Sai.The judge asks Ashika why she wants Sai’s custody when she already has custody of her son. Ashika claims she is worried for Sai’s future and has employed many servants and two nannies for her, while the Thakkars haven’t hired a single servant for Sai. The judge inquires about her son. Ashika says he is happy in a top boarding school.
The judge sends her away and calls Sai in. She asks Savi if she married Rajat for Sai’s sake. Savi responds that yes, she loves Sai a lot. She adds that she is okay if Sai wants to stay with Ashika; she is just concerned for Sai’s happiness. Savi requests the judge to allow her to meet Sai at least once a week and to give a verdict today itself, as she doesn’t want little Sai to go through any mental harassment.
The judge says she will give judgment in 5 minutes and sends Savi away. Aman tells Rajat’s lawyer, Mr. Wadha, that he doesn’t understand why Sai chose Ashika and not Savi. Arsh approaches them and comments that real blood speaks, so Sai chose her biological mother. He taunts Rajat, saying his effort to marry Savi was in vain since he lost Sai’s custody. He warns that Rajat should pay attention to Savi now, or he will lose her too.
Savi passes by, and he taunts her as well. Rajat lashes out at Savi, saying he married her for Sai’s custody, and now their marriage has no value. Savi replies that she married for Sai’s sake and is surprised that Sai chose Ashika. Regardless, Savi states that she will stay with her mother. Rajat tells her to choose an alimony amount. Savi responds that Sai is her wealth and she doesn’t need his alimony.
The court hearing resumes. The judge announces that Sai’s custody goes to her mother. Ashika and Arsh are thrilled while the others feel sad. The judge clarifies that she means Sai’s new mother, Savi Rajat Thakkar. The Thakkars and Shantanu congratulate each other and rejoice.
Ashika asks the judge how she can make this decision. The judge explains that she had called Sai to her cabin during recess and learned that Arsh manipulated her to choose Ashika. Rajat grabs Arsh’s collar for manipulating his daughter’s mind. The judge warns him to behave, or she will prosecute him for contempt of court.
She shares a story she heard in her childhood about a mother willing to sacrifice her happiness for her son’s safety. She sees the same self-sacrificing nature in Savi for Sai and hopes Savi continues her love for Sai. The judge criticizes Rajat and Ashika for their selfish behaviour and concludes the hearing. Sai happily runs to Savi mamma.
