Megha wakes her husband in the night and shows him Aadhya’s sketches. She asks if it is not strange that the doodling shifts from sad to happy. He replies that kids have mood swings and adds that she is so scared that she might have accepted her life. Megha insists they should leave the city, claiming something is separating them from Aadhya. He asks if she is mad, explaining that he is the medical college Dean and can’t just leave. Megha urges him to take a leave for a few days. They head to Aadhya’s room and wake her up, announcing they are going to the farmhouse.
Meanwhile, Anupama approaches, feeling dizzy. She prays to Kanha ji for help and thinks of giving Anuj the best gift for his birthday. Aadhya expresses concern that if she leaves, Mummy won’t be able to find her. She suggests they go to the open area, but only after Janmashtami. Viren agrees, saying she is right, and they should go after the festival. Anupama arrives and tries to see the girl but can’t find Aadhya.
She thinks Aadhya looks familiar and recalls seeing her in the temple with a lady, wondering if that was Megha. As she turns to leave, she spots Aadhya’s sketch on the window. Vanraj knocks on Baa’s door. When she opens it, she asks what happened, as he woke her up late at night. Vanraj says they should arrange Meenu’s marriage as soon as possible and tells her to call the groom’s family. He recalls seeing Sagar and Meenu playing with a flashlight.
Next door, Aadhya is eating with Viren and Megha when Anupama rings the bell. Megha shouts to ask who is at the door. Anupama identifies herself, and Megha instructs Aadhya to go to her room and finish her food. Aadhya takes the sauce and pours it onto her plate. Viren opens the door, and Anupama explains that she came to return the extra 30 Rs. from yesterday. Megha questions her intent, and Anupama insists she merely stopped by while delivering food to a nearby house.
Suddenly, she pretends to faint. Viren and Megha help her inside and seat her on the sofa. Anupama claims she has been fainting for the past two or three days and mentions her medicine. Megha hands her a glass of water. Anupama takes the medicine and drinks. Viren suggests that Anupama should rest for a while, as the medicine will take time to work. Aadhya notices the door is unlocked and thinks Megha Mamma didn’t close it today.
As Anupama tries to look around, Megha tells her husband to take Anupama to the doctor. Anupama insists she is fine and will be better in two minutes. Megha tells Anupama she can leave if she feels better. Anupama thanks them for allowing her to rest and promises to bring Prasad for them, suggesting they let their daughter have it. Megha gets angry, stating they will get it themselves. Anupama leaves and thanks them once more.
Viren’s phone falls to the ground, and they bend down to pick it up. Aadhya peeks outside the room, and Anupama sees her, becoming emotional. Aadhya imagines reuniting with Anupama, revealing the truth, only to see Megha attacking them with a knife.Anupama is about to call Aadhya when Aadhya signals her not to say anything. Anupama asks if the phone is okay, and Viren confirms it is. She says she will leave, and Megha urges her to go.
Anupama exits, and they lock the door behind her. Anupama realizes they are threatening Aadhya, recalling the doodle of the girl in a cage. Aadhya thinks Mummy saw her and will save her, feeling grateful that Mummy didn’t react because Megha Mamma is possessive. Anupama thanks Kanha ji for bringing her closer to Aadhya. Megha approaches the dining table and sees “Choti” written on the plate with sauce, becoming suspicious.
