Anupama brings Indra to Asha Bhavan. Nandita and others ask where she found Indra ji. Anupama says she found him in the garbage. She says they were waiting for her phone call and message and were not aware that she would come back to them so soon. Anuj lifts Indra and takes her inside. Titu asks Dimpy if she has gone mad or if her mind is hanging using the phone. She asks him not to overreact.
Titu says she is Ansh’s mother, but that teacher wants to handle the matter peacefully, while her misbehavior will ruin things. She says the teacher cares for Ansh more than Titu does and that he has spoiled Ansh a lot, making it difficult to control him. He says this is happening because of Papa’s over-involvement and her under-involvement. Dimpy asks him not to talk to her since her mood is bad. Titu says he will talk to Papa and Ansh now. Dimpy warns him not to talk to them. Titu insists he will talk to them.
Bala says he can’t believe that this is their same Indra ji. Sagar says the doctor is coming. Babu ji says it seems she is in deep trauma. Anupama mentions that Anuj was found in a similar condition, and now it’s Indra ji. Pakhi says just 5 days passed, and she is in such a condition.
Titu tells everything to Baa and says all the words are true. Dimpy accuses him of complaining about Ansh and her. Titu says he would have praised them if they had done something good.
Just then, Pari comes and tells Kinjal that Ansh is tearing her book. Ansh says she is complaining about him and tears her book. Ishu says he broke her doll. Ansh replies that she wasn’t letting him play and ate his chocolate. Ishu says he doesn’t share. Ansh says he will eat alone. Pari calls him very mischievous. Titu asks Dimpy to see. Dimpy tells Ansh that it’s okay if he troubles Mahi, but Pari is his cousin.
Kinjal tells Dimpy what she is teaching Ansh, saying that Pari is his sister and Mahi is also a daughter of this house. Dimpy asks why Kavya doesn’t have a problem, so why should she. Kinjal says Dimpy should be in control. Ansh says their fight is entertaining, and he will bring popcorn so they can continue. Titu shouts at Ansh and tells him to go to his room or he will raise his hand. Dimpy shouts at Titu. Titu warns her not to dare.
Anupama tells everyone that Indra ji needs their care, and the doctor said she will be fine soon. Anuj brings milk and gives it to Anupama, saying he will help her until she finishes the milk. Anupama is emotional. Anuj says if she is not well, how can she take care of others? Baa says enough. Titu apologizes to Baa and everyone, saying he doesn’t want to create a scene and is fed up. He says he has tried to be a good husband, father, and son but feels very lonely in this big family. He feels like a stranger and stepfather, saying Ansh sees him as a stepfather, while Dimpy calls him my son, not our son.
He says they make him feel like an outsider and that Dimpy is not the same person he loved. Sometimes he feels he should leave. Dimpy asks who is stopping him; if he has so many problems with her, then he should leave. She reminds him that he brought the marriage proposal to her, and she didn’t force him to become ghar jamai. She tells him to leave if he wants. Titu, hurt, walks out of the house. Kinjal urges Dimpy to stop Titu. Dimpy doesn’t stop him. Titu wipes his tears, thinking even men get hurt when their loved ones hurt them.
Anupama talks to Indra. Indra asks why she brought her here and says Anupama should have left her to die there. Bala says they can’t do that. Nandita says Anupama brought her to her house. Anupama asks Indra why she didn’t come to Asha Bhavan after she gave her the keys. Indra says she wanted to die. Anupama tells her not to say this and asks who has done this to her. Bala asks what happened in 4-5 days that caused this. Indra cries and explains that when her son called and apologized, she forgave them and decided to go to them.
She says they came from London, and she thought to stay there until death, even if her bahu made her do servant’s work. She says everyone behaved nicely for 2 days, but on the third day, her son brought her husband’s insurance papers and asked her to make him the nominee. When she refused, he got angry, locked her in the room, and her bahu beat her with a sandal, pulling and cutting her hair. She says her son didn’t say anything. She cut her hair to prevent relatives from knowing what they did. Indra cries, saying she used to read such stories in newspapers but never believed them, thinking they were exaggerated.
Now she understands that this is Kalyug, and no son is Shravan Kumar. She says he kept her captive for 2 days, hungry and thirsty, and then threw her in the garbage, fearing she might die in his house. She says it would have been better if he had killed her. Anupama says if injustice has happened, then now justice will happen. She says what do children think of themselves? They don’t want their mother but want her money. She asks who gives them the right to raise their hands on their mother and misbehave. It is a sin, and he shall be punished for it. Babu ji agrees.
Bala says he must be punished so nobody else does such a thing to their parents. Anupama says parents never think badly of their children. She has seen Indra’s love, and now her son will see what a mother can do when she gets angry. She says enough of respect; now her son has to suffer. Toshu gets money from a friend and says he will double it. The friend asks for a guarantee. Toshu gives him Vanraj’s number and tells him to take his money from him if he doesn’t get it back.
Anupama and Bala go to Indra’s house and see her son partying with friends. She makes his wine glass fall. He stands up and shouts, asking what this misbehavior is. Anupama says he should have been slapped by his mother, but since she wouldn’t, this mother has slapped him. His wife asks how dare Anupama raise her hand on her husband. Anupama tells her to be quiet and that her turn will come.
She asks Indra’s son how he can leave his mother to die while he is partying. His wife says it is their wish, asking who Anupama is to interfere. Anupama slaps her. Bala asks how he can leave his mother to die, who gave him birth. Indra says how dare Anupama interfere in their family matters. His bahu accuses Anupama of having an affair with Indra’s son, saying she was sure they were having one. Her son tells them that he doesn’t know what they do in Asha Bhavan.
Anupama shouts, asking them to be quiet. She says Indra ji was happy in Asha Bhavan, but when she called her, she was happy to come back and forgive them. They snatched her home and money and beat her with a sandal, locking her in a room hungry and thirsty. She says if children are like this, then parents will pray not to have children. She asks Indra’s bahu if she has parents and where they stay. Indra’s bahu says they stay with her brother and sister-in-law.
Anupama says so their brother and sister-in-law shall do the same with them. Indra’s bahu asks what she is saying. Anupama says a saas is also a maa, and they threw her in the dustbin. Indra’s bahu says they didn’t see what Indra had done; she troubled them and didn’t give them money. Anupama says it is Indra’s wish if she wants to give her husband’s money to them. Indra’s bahu says it is their wish to throw her out.
Her son asks Anupama to cut his mother’s hair like she cut Dadi’s hair. Anupama says he has learned from them. She calls the police, shocking them. They plead for forgiveness. Anupama tells the inspector to take them to Asha Bhavan first, before taking them to the police station. Dhruv comes to Indra and hugs her, saying she looks cute with short hair. She asks where his parents are. The police bring them, and Anupama comes, apologizing and saying she knows they don’t want to see their faces, but she has to bring them here.
