Lakshmi tells Shalu that Rishi is not the same as he appears. Shalu responds, noting that it’s clear in Lakshmi’s eyes that she loves Rishi. Lakshmi says she felt bad seeing him dance with Malishka. Shalu comments that such words are often used in times of danger. Just then, Rishi approaches Lakshmi and asks if she feels jealous watching him with Malishka. Lakshmi dismisses him, saying he was dancing badly. Rishi insists that everything is crystal clear. Rohan and Paro arrive to call them to watch Ayush’s dance. As Rohan trips and falls, Lakshmi becomes concerned and asks if he is okay, embracing him tightly.
Rohan assures her he is fine, while Paro vows to keep him safe. Rohan, Paro, and Rishi leave, and Lakshmi reminisces about her late son, Rohan. Meanwhile, Kiran signs to Anushka to come over. Kiran explains that Malishka and Anushka, having come from different backgrounds, should form a strong team. Anushka doesn’t understand and expresses her lack of fear towards Shalu. Kiran deceives Anushka by claiming Malishka has suffered greatly and knows more than she reveals about her past misdeeds. She warns Anushka not to trust innocent appearances.
Shalu tells Lakshmi that they came for Rohan and Paro, but people are speaking ill of them. Lakshmi confesses she misses Rohan deeply and regrets not being able to save him. Shalu reassures her, saying if their Rohan were alive, he would be like Rohan. Lakshmi shares that her son wouldn’t want to see her crying, and they embrace. Karishma notices Lakshmi in tears and wonders why she is upset.Avinash approaches Dadi, expressing his belief that the family feels complete with Lakshmi and Shalu’s presence. Dadi tells him to lower his voice, then suggests he speak to Karishma. She admits that she should have taught Karishma better, but she was spoiled as the only daughter. Karishma overhears and defends herself, stating she thought she had the family’s best interests at heart.
On the dance floor, Ayush, Malishka, and Rishi dance with Rohan and Paro. Rohan invites Lakshmi to dance, while Paro encourages Shalu to join. Anushka, noticing Shalu dancing, tries to join Ayush but steps back when Shalu excuses herself. Malishka feels neglected as Lakshmi and Rishi enjoy their dance with the children. Karishma approaches Aanchal, discussing mismatched jodis and the need to correct them. As Lakshmi and Rishi share a moment, Malishka storms away, frustrated. Kiran follows her, urging her to avoid letting anger ruin her. Kiran advises Malishka to focus on removing Lakshmi before she becomes a bigger problem. Malishka agrees and recalls that the last time Virender was hurt, Rishi threw Lakshmi out, suggesting he might do the same if Neelam is hurt.
Dadi hopes Lakshmi will visit her room. When Lakshmi arrives, Dadi expresses her happiness to finally have her there after seven years. Rishi watches them. Dadi presents Lakshmi with a kuldevi mannat band for Paro, explaining that even though she isn’t Rishi’s biological daughter, she shares a heart connection with them. Rishi observes the exchange closely. Dadi tells Lakshmi to join her as they head to celebrate Rohan’s birthday. As they walk together, Dadi stumbles, and Rishi and Lakshmi catch her, feeling an electric spark when their hands touch. Rishi asks Lakshmi if she felt it too, but she walks away without answering.
Malishka takes Kiran to the glass wall, explaining that the decorator warned her to keep everyone away from it. She mentions that it’s mounted on a wheel that is fixed with a screw, and if the screw comes out, it could be dangerous. Sitting down, she opens the screw and places Paro’s doll underneath it. Malishka tells Kiran that she will bring the cake and lure Neelam near the wall while also informing Paro about her doll’s location. She plans for Paro to retrieve her doll, causing the wall to fall on Neelam. Kiran expresses concern about what might happen to Neelam, but Malishka insists that they must lose something to gain something.
Kiran instructs Malishka to have Anushka record the video without revealing their plan. Malishka agrees and heads off to get the cake, knowing it will soon be midnight. She returns with the cake and positions Neelam in front of the wall, telling everyone to get ready for the cake cutting. Malishka asks Paro whose doll it is, and Paro excitedly claims it as hers, reaching for the doll. Malishka prompts Anushka to start recording.
As Rohan moves toward Neelam, Kiran intervenes, asking if she can cut the cake with him. He agrees. Karishma calls everyone to gather. Malishka then tells everyone to stop and asks Neelam to share how she feels, as it’s her grandson’s birthday. She takes Anushka’s phone to record Paro and waits for the wall to fall on Neelam. Neelam expresses her love for Rohan, saying she loves him more than Rishi.
