Sai, annoyed by mosquitoes buzzing around her, asks her nanny Asha to bring her a racket. Asha returns with a tennis racket, but Sai clarifies that she needs a mosquito racket and requests her father to be called. Meanwhile, a heavily drunk Rajat gets into his car and instructs the driver to take him home. Sai calls him, asking him to bring a mosquito bat along with Pari Aunty. Rajat expresses his love and longing for her, prompting Sai to invite him over. He then asks the driver to take him to the market and subsequently to Arsh’s house.
Upon arriving at Arsh’s house, Rajat finds out from Asha that Sai has been put to sleep after she cleared the mosquitoes. He heads to Sai’s room and lovingly pampers her while “O Ri Chiraiya” plays in the background. He reflects on the mosquito racket incident and then questions Asha about why Sai isn’t being taken care of properly in the house. Asha reassures him that Sai is well cared for, which does not alleviate his concerns. As he turns to leave, Arsh stops him and confronts him for entering without permission. Rajat retorts, questioning why Arsh didn’t ask for permission when he entered and disrupted his life.
Ashika then approaches Rajat, asking what he is doing there. Rajat pleads for her to return to him, but Arsh warns Rajat to be respectful towards his girlfriend. Rajat expresses how much he misses Ashika and the joy they had together, but Ashika, seeing him inebriated, feels pity for him. Rajat scoffs at her, accusing her of only loving money and claiming she is nobody since she lacks the Thakkar or Gujral surname.
Arsh warns him to watch his words, and Rajat defends himself by announcing that he is about to get married. Ashika curiously asks who the bride is, and Rajat confidently claims that whoever she is, she will be a thousand times better as a mother to Sai than Ashika ever was. He believes Sai will soon forget her.Rajat leaves, confident that Ashika and her boyfriend will eventually drop Sai back at his house.
After Rajat returns to his car, he reflects on his challenge to Ashika and asks the driver if drunk people speak the truth. The driver confirms they do, prompting Rajat to think about how he praised Savi in front of Ashika while acknowledging he can barely tolerate her. Despite his doubts about living with Savi, he believes she will be the best mother for Sai, regardless of his struggles.
Meanwhile, the Thakkars are busy preparing for Savi and Rajat’s kelvan ritual. Harini showcases the decorations to Savi, who is lost in thought, recalling Rajat’s disdain for her. Isha comforts Savi emotionally. The doorbell rings, and Isha opens the door to find a sleepy Thakkar family pressing the bell repeatedly. Rajendra greets her with “Jai Sri Krishna” and enters, along with the family.
Bhagyashree, still ringing the bell, introduces her brother Jayantilal, sister-in-law Janaki, and niece Kinjal, explaining they stayed up all night playing cards. They request strong coffee as they are still groggy from lack of sleep. The Bhosales serve coffee and invite the Thakkars for lunch, but Janaki reminds them that they can’t eat at the Bhosale’s house since they are non-vegetarians.
