A tug-of-war competition starts between the Thakkars and the Bhosales to decide whether Rajat and Savi’s wedding will follow Gujarati or Marathi customs. The Thakkars win the competition. Bhagyashree and her children perform garba, chanting that the wedding will happen according to Gujarati rituals. Rajendra announces that Rajat and Savi’s Gordhana and Sakharpuda rituals will take place tomorrow. Isha burns in anger and storms into her flat. Bhagyashree asks Riddhi to invite her Jayanti mama.
Rajat returns home and suggests that the wedding should happen secretly, fearing that if Ashika and Arsh find out, they will create problems. Bhagyashree reminds him that he has to spend his whole life with Savi, as Sai will marry someday and leave him, while Savi will take care of him. Rajat says he is marrying only for Sai’s sake. He admits he can’t enjoy anything until Aman is released from jail and vows not to spare the person who trapped Aman.
Lucky gets tense hearing this. He pays his friends to take the blame for Aman’s situation. His friends ask why he is so worried. Lucky explains that Rajat won’t stop until he catches the culprit and has even hired a detective, so he doesn’t want to face humiliation. Meanwhile, the Bhosales start listing guests and making arrangements for the wedding. Isha watches Gujarati ceremony videos.
The doorbell rings, and Mrunmayee opens the door, getting emotional on seeing her mother, Latha. Latha walks in with Savi. Savi says Latha had called her to pick her up from the station. Isha thanks her. Latha says she couldn’t control herself after hearing about Savi’s wedding and came. Mrunmayee cries, but Latha reassures her, saying she knows she’s innocent. Harini cheers her up, saying she must help them in Savi’s wedding since they don’t know Gujarati customs. Mrunmayee agrees.
The Thakkars prepare for the engagement ceremony. Jayanti mama arrives with his wife and daughter, playing Gujarati music. Bhagyashree and her children perform garba with them and welcome them. The Bhosales feel irritated by the music.
Ashika informs Arsh about seeing Savi and Rajat outside the family court premises. Arsh suspects they might be secretly marrying and tells Ashika to meet Savi and inquire about it. Sai overhears and insists on joining Ashika to meet Savi and Rajat. Ashika promises to bring Savi home instead. Arsh tells Ashika that Sai seems more comfortable with Savi and Rajat than her and advises her to gain Sai’s confidence.
Rajat visits Aman in jail and informs him about the wedding. Aman tells him not to worry as the inspector is taking good care of him. The inspector signals a constable, who brings Aman home-cooked food. Rajat jokes that they’re saving money, and now money is saving them. He offers Aman whiskey mixed in a cold drink.
Aman jokes that they’re having a bachelor’s party in jail. Rajat calls it a marriage of convenience. The inspector asks if he’s marrying again and falling into a pit. Rajat admits that he is marrying someone who talks a lot and lectures him all the time. The inspector prays for his happiness, while Rajat remarks that his second marriage is worth less than a chocolate wrapper, as he is marrying only for a reason.
Mrunmayee and Harini tease Savi about Rajat. Savi says she is marrying him for Sai’s sake. She notices Sai’s drawing and calls Ashika. Ashika, already planning to call Savi, picks up. Savi requests her to send Sai to school for an arts class tomorrow, as Sai loves drawing. Ashika agrees and asks if she can meet Savi. Savi mentions her engagement is tomorrow. When Ashika asks for the venue, Savi says her father is handling everything, and she doesn’t know the details. Ashika feels suspicious.
Meanwhile, the Thakkars play cards. Jayanti’s wife remarks that since Savi can’t have children, she can devote all her attention to Sai. Jayanti scolds her for the insensitive comment. Rajat defends Savi, saying she loves Sai like her own daughter and is marrying him for Sai’s sake. Jayanti’s wife expresses her eagerness to meet Savi. Jayanti says she can meet her during some Marathi ritual tomorrow. Bhagyashree gets emotional, and Jayanti asks why. Bhagyashree admits she is missing Sai.
