Anuj plays the flute while Anupama looks at him secretly. Aankhon Ki Sharmo Haya plays in the background. Anuj turns, but Anupama hides. He sees “I L U” written on the apples, picks one up, and eats it. He stumbles, and she calls out to him. A flower falls, and she catches it. Sagar looks at Meenu. Ansh comes there and hugs her. Meenu asks him to go inside and play.
Sagar asks what they were doing with their fingers. Meenu explains it is a Korean heart, which means “I love you,” and advises him not to show it to any girl. He says, “Then I will get beaten up.” Meenu sits in his auto. Sagar asks her not to sit and says he will call another auto for her. She replies that she is getting late and asks him to drop her. Sagar tells her that if her mama or brother sees her going in his auto, they will create a big drama.
He says he is a simple man who wants to become a lawyer, but his career will be ruined if he fights with rich people as a poor man. Meenu tells him not to talk like that and says everyone is human and equal.Sagar imagines Meenu and himself together while a romantic song plays. Suddenly, a piece of paper falls on his face, bringing him back to reality. Meenu laughs and asks him to drive faster, as she is getting late for an emergency at the hospital.
Toshu talks to someone and asks them to bet 3 lakhs on his behalf. Kinjal comes in and asks where he is taking so much money. She questions if he is gambling. Toshu says, “We have to do such things to stay in high society,” adding that she wouldn’t understand. Kinjal tells him she knows high society well, asks him to put the money back, and says she will talk to her mom about it.
She reminds him that she begged him to keep the money. Toshu says he doesn’t want to become just a crorepati but an arabpatti (billionaire), and he won’t achieve that by joining her mom’s coaching center. He asks her to move aside. She questions whether he will do something wrong to achieve his goal. He says yes and walks off. Sagar talks to Meenu, saying he has decided to change his perspective and enjoy life rather than complain.
Meenu tells him he sounds like a philosopher. Sagar talks about law. Meenu asks him not to take tuitions and instead tell her how long he has been at Asha Bhavan. He says since he was 10 years old. She asks if he has no family. Sagar explains that his father passed away when he was a child, and his mother died a few years later. His mother had left him at his mama ji’s place, where his uncle ran a grocery shop and cheated people.
Sagar used to give free goods to the poor when his uncle wasn’t around, but when his uncle found out, he beat him and threw him out. Sagar says he survived doing odd jobs until Asha Aunty saw him, took him to Asha Bhavan, and took care of his education. Meenu feels bad hearing about his struggles. Just then, a biker suddenly approaches, and Sagar slams the brakes. Meenu gets a slight injury on her forehead. He apologizes and cleans her wound using the first aid box in his auto. Meenu looks at him.
Anupama falls down and calls for help. Anuj rushes to her and takes care of her. Everyone gathers around and looks on. Anuj extends his hand to help her, but when she can’t get up, he lifts her and carries her to her room. A song plays in the background. He sits beside her bed. A lady brings an ice pack and a cloth. He wraps the ice in the cloth and places it on Anupama’s foot. Bala comments that love should be like this. Nandita says they can’t bear to see each other in pain. Bala calls it true love. Nandita says she had lost faith in love but has regained it now.
Anuj tells Anupama that Devika informed him about her accident. Anupama explains that when he met with an accident, she also had one. She says she was so happy as if she had gained the entire world, but then her life turned upside down. She narrates how Pandit ji gave her Radha’s locket, and when she heard he wasn’t coming, she ended up wandering onto the road and met with an accident.
Anupama reveals that after gaining consciousness, she tried calling him and Aadhya but learned that he was fine and Aadhya was in a hostel. She says that day, her strength, courage, and bones were all shattered. She asks if he is angry at her for Aadhya leaving him and begs him to share his feelings. She gets out of bed and questions how Barkha and Ankush snatched everything from him.
She recalls hearing that they found her belongings in the valley but wonders why they didn’t find his body. Anuj pleads with her to stop talking about it and leave him alone. He walks away and plays the flute. Anupama tells him he must help her search for Aadhya. Bala comments that Anuj is trying to vent his pain, and Nandita wonders how long Anupama will have to wait. Anupama breaks down in tears.
