Titu asks Ansh why he beat Veer and mentions that the teacher complains daily about Ansh’s lack of focus in studies and his mischievous behaviour. Ansh cries, and Titu comforts him, saying that he loves him a lot. Ansh replies that Dadu told him everything, that Titu is his stepdad and bad, and only Dadu has the right to scold him. Titu raises his voice, calling Ansh’s name. Dimpy intervenes, shouting at Titu and insisting that he can’t shout at Ansh. Ansh claims Titu is scolding him, and Dimpy sides with him.
She asserts that Titu shouldn’t scold Ansh, questioning what would happen if Titu had his own child. Titu argues that he receives complaints from school daily and asks if Dimpy’s parents never scolded her as a child. Dimpy responds that nobody scolds Ansh, not even Papa. Titu emphasizes that as parents, they must help Ansh understand. Dimpy insists that he won’t scold Ansh, and Titu expresses his disappointment, saying if he had known she would change so much after marriage, he might have reconsidered. Dimpy challenges him, asking if he regrets marrying her.
Anupama and Nandita overhear their argument from the ashram. Anupama remarks that they are fighting again, and Nandita suggests they might not realize they can hear them. Anupama defends Titu, stating that he is a good man who married Dimpy despite many girls wanting him and that he loves Ansh deeply. Nandita points out that Dimpy blames destiny, and now that it has given them a chance, they can’t handle it. Anupama laments that Vanraj has become a barrier, trying to break her marriage.
Titu expresses sadness over feeling like an outsider, saying he regards Dimpy, Ansh, and Papa as his own. Dimpy regrets marrying him, and Ansh jokingly says he is a ghar jamai (son-in-law). Dimpy asserts it is Titu’s decision, so he shouldn’t blame her. Titu leaves the house in tears, and Anupama watches him, signaling that he is fine.
Bala writes “Indra ji” on his hand, telling Anuj that her son is coming to take her and expresses regret over not confessing his love. Anuj recalls a memory of peeping into Anupama’s house, watching little Toshu and Samar play while pregnant Anupama stood nearby. He shares with Bala that he couldn’t confess his love to Anupama, and it was too late; he had to wait 26 years.
He admits he still loves her and can’t hate her. Bala encourages him to accept his love, stating that his feelings aren’t one-sided. He asks Anuj to consider this and leaves. Anupama overhears and becomes emotional as a song plays. Anuj approaches Anupama, moving the curtain to look at her. He asks if she will search for their daughter, Aadhya, whom he believes is alive. Anupama nods, promising to search for their Choti and Aadhya together, saying they will find her.
Anuj acknowledges that Aadhya is now grown up, making it easier to find her. Anupama agrees and makes a pinky promise, recalling their past promises. As Indra prepares to leave, she hugs Anupama, expressing sadness at leaving but happiness at reuniting with her family. Anupama reassures her, saying that they will always consider her welcome back. She gives Indra the keys to Asha Bhavan, reminding her that it will always be her home.
Indra’s son urges her to go, and Anupama advises him to respect and value his mother. After some heartfelt exchanges, Indra leaves with her son. Anupama retrieves a comb from the floor and hands it to Bala, who questions its significance. Sagar teasingly comments about Bala’s broken heart. Bala admits he fell for Indra due to her care and affection, acknowledging that it’s wrong to fall in love at his age.
Anupama shares her experience of loving Anuj when she was 44 with grown children and facing societal criticism. She encourages Bala to confess his feelings to Indra whenever he gets the chance. As Bala and Sagar dance, Sagar suggests Bala make a heart with his fingers and say “I love you” to Indra. Anupama does the same and gazes at Anuj, hoping he understands her feelings.
