Monty leaves. Sachin says he didn’t talk to Monty. Sayali mentions that he gifted her a rose, which matters. Juhi tells Sayali that she should praise Sachin, as he is making a Gajra for her. Sayali smiles and says it’s very nice. Sachin makes Sayali wear the Gajra. “Ankhon Se Teri…” plays, and he compliments her. Sachin and Sayali leave, making Shubha happy.
Sachin then realizes he forgot about Sayali’s birthday and promises to pick just one ride for her today, so they can spend the whole day out before heading home. Sayali receives a call from Sakshi, and Sachin thinks, wishing he could break her phone but controlling himself because it’s her birthday. They spend time together, and “Dil Diyaan Gallan…” plays. Sayali gets another call, and Sachin grows angry. He reluctantly says he forgives her since it’s her birthday.
Sayali remains busy on phone calls and apologizes to him. He hugs her, and they head to the beach. Sayali asks what she should do about the calls. Sachin replies that he has no problem with her work, understanding its importance, but he left everything for her today while she’s on calls. Sayali explains she can’t refuse to work just because it’s her birthday.
Sachin expresses that he doesn’t understand the importance of birthdays. He confesses he got angry because Renu referred to her as a problem, saying he wanted her birthday to be memorable. He asks her to decide whether she wants to be with him or on the call. Sayali insists she wants to stay with him, and he confirms he has no work, inviting her for tea and a full plan for Mumbai darshan. She nods in agreement. Sayali appreciates the surprise, saying she feels very special on this birthday.
Sachin asks what there is to thank him for. She inquires how he celebrates his birthday, and he explains that Renu didn’t celebrate, but his dad used to do something. He then presents balloons to her and asks her to close her eyes and make a wish. Sayali wishes that they always stay together and that she becomes Sachin’s support. He assures her that it’s done. He releases the balloons into the air, and she questions why he did that.
Sachin explains that he used to ask the same question, but his dad taught him that the balloons go to Bappa, who fulfils his wishes. He then adds that he has one more wish to fulfil and takes her hand, saying they will go out today. She agrees, and he suggests teaching her how to make a sandcastle. They start making the castle together when Sayali receives a call from Monty, causing Sachin to feel angry.
