Sayali sees Sachin and smiles. She asks him to wake up, making bangle sounds and gently shaking him. He grumbles, “Let me sleep; I’m getting angry.” She insists, “I want to go to the temple; wake up.” He replies, “I’m sleeping, please.” She playfully says, “No, get up,” and tickles him. Just then, she gets a call from Monty. Sachin wakes up and looks at her. She says, “I’m busy today; I will talk later.” Sachin suggests, “Call Monty and go to the temple with him.” She agrees, saying, “Fine, I’m going.” He answers Juhi’s call, and she asks about the special plan for Sayali’s birthday. Sachin realizes, “What? That’s why she was waking me up!” He adds, “I have a plan; I’ll meet you and tell you.”
Paresh blesses Sayali and wishes her well. Sachin looks on as Akash also wishes Sayali, saying, “Special tea for you.” Sachin comments, “Akash also knows it? I didn’t know; so bad!” He urges Sayali to talk to Juhi. She takes the phone and leaves. Paresh asks Sachin what happened, and Sachin replies, “You didn’t tell me about her birthday!” Paresh responds, “She is your wife; you should remember.” Akash asks, “Didn’t you wish her?” Sachin admits, “No.”
Paresh jokes about it. Sachin adds, “I didn’t remember.” Akash inquires whether he planned any celebration, and Sachin says, “She isn’t a little kid.” Sayali returns and overhears. Akash sees her and gestures for Sachin to stop. Sachin goes to Sayali and wishes her, saying, “Sorry, happy birthday.” She asks him for the date, and he replies, “I remember.” Renu enters and asks what’s going on. Sachin says, “I told you; I will call Tejas.” He then calls Tejas and Roshni over.
Sachin states, “It’s a good day,” and wards off Sayali’s bad sight. He gives money to Renu, Tejas, and Roshni, teasing them. Roshni retorts, “You don’t insult us!” Renu insults both Sayali and Sachin. Sachin recalls Renu planning Tejas’ birthday party and scolding him. He insists, “We will go and celebrate.” Paresh advises, “Just take Sayali out.” Sachin agrees and tells Sayali to go and get ready. She replies, “No, I have decoration work.” He reassures her, “I know you are upset with Sachin; give him a chance to fix his mistake.” She relents, saying, “Fine, I will go with him,” and adds, “I will finish my work and meet you at the temple.” Sachin promises, “I will plan something special.” She leaves, smiling.
Sachin makes a gajra for Sayali, and Shubha smiles. Juhi comments, “It’s good.” Sayali arrives, and Sachin is mesmerized by her beauty as the song “Jeene laga hoon…” plays. Monty enters, and Sachin feels irritated. Sayali discusses work with Monty, while Juhi and Shubha wish Sayali and hug her. Monty asks, “Is it your birthday? You didn’t tell me.” Sayali replies, “Yes, I couldn’t tell.” Monty apologizes, saying, “She is working on her birthday because of me.” Sachin jokes about Monty, who gives Sayali a rose and says, “Happy birthday!” Sachin takes the rose, sniffs it, and remarks, “It smells bad; it’s a bad flower.” He then hands the flower to Sayali and wishes her again. She smiles.
