Anuj asks Anupama to ask the fathers, standing here what they would feel when their child says a last goodbye to him, and he says he died at that moment. His daughter got separated from him and left, as he wanted to stay with her. He says he chose the love who doesn’t want to be with him and left the daughter who was with him. He says, “You were mature enough and would have made me understand, but you didn’t do it.” He says Aadhya is not dead but murdered by Anu and him. He says it would have been better if they had not adopted her; she would have been fine in the old orphanage home. He says he was mad, and she asked him to stay away from Anupama, but he didn’t listen to her.
He thought she was not serious, but she was serious, and they took her life. He says, “Why did I do this?” and cries, “My daughter is dead; she left.” Anupama cries and says in a low tone that she is alive. Anuj sits and cries. He lies down on the ground, reminiscing about Aadhya. Anupama also recalls her happy moments with Aadhya and cries. A song plays. She tries to pacify him. Vanraj asks Anuj to get up and hugs him, saying he can understand his pain, as he has lost a child and knows the pain. Anupama says she knows nothing has happened to her daughter and asks him to trust her, saying this mother’s heart tells her that Aadhya is in this world and that they will search for her.
Anuj says, “How will you search for her? She is dead, and a dead person can’t be found.” Anupama insists that Aadhya will return. Anuj says she will not return; she told him that she is going very far, and dead people never return. He says the reason for her death is Anupama, and he adds that it was his life’s biggest mistake. He says he will never forgive himself and can’t forgive her either. Vanraj tells Anuj that he had advised him to stay away from this woman, but Anuj thought his advice was wrong. He says this Anupama Joshi can’t do anyone’s betterment; wherever she goes, she brings pain to others and destroys them.
Toshu questions what kind of mother she is and says her own children hate her. Pakhi adds that they hate her so much that they don’t even hate their enemies this much. Kinjal asks them to stop it. Toshu says it is her habit to care for strangers but not for her own family; she cares for stray dogs but not for her real kids. Vanraj tells Anupama to change her name and remove the “Ma” from it. He says she used to lecture others, but she couldn’t handle any relationship. Anupama says she doesn’t want to clarify anything to them and doesn’t want any certificate from them. She asks Anuj to come and ignore them. Anuj says, “My daughter is gone.” Bala takes Anuj from there.
Vanraj says he has cursed Anupama and said that she will get Shruti’s curse, which she has, and now she is alone and empty-handed, though she had everything in the past. Kinjal and Bala try to sympathize with Anupama, but Vanraj shouts for them to come.Anupama sits down and cries. Indra and Nandita feel bad for her. Anupama cries. Ankush tells that Anupama’s coming here is no less than bad news. He says that seeing Anupama’s expression, it seems she was not believing them, though she heard them. He says if she can search for them, then she can search for Anuj also.
Barkha says she is Anupama and can do anything. Ankush says they made a big mistake by leaving him in front of the Ashram. Barkha says he was calling Aadhya’s name again and again. Ankush says they are responsible for his condition and says if Aadhya returns. Barkha says she is not worried about Aadhya, but about Anupama. She says they brought him to India for their advantage. A flashback is shown where she says she is not his nurse or parent and blames him for leaving for the U.S. while settling them.
She asks Ankush to take Anuj’s business and not let it go. The flashback ends. Ankush says they have stooped so low that they changed his medicines to deteriorate his condition. Another flashback shows Barkha telling him that Aadhya will be found soon and giving him juice. She then gives him medicine to deteriorate his mental health and looks on with bad intentions. As days pass by, Ankush tells Anuj that he will handle everything and says because of Anuj’s condition, a big empire should not be messed up.
They have to give salaries to many. He asks him to sign the new project file. Anuj says, “You are my family; if I don’t trust you, then whom will I trust?” Barkha smiles. The flashback ends. Ankush says Anuj signed the papers, and he snatched everything from him and made his mental condition worse. Meenu comes out of the hospital. The seniors stop her and say that juniors have to accept seniors’ sayings, and after her introduction, she shall do what they ask her to do. Meenu says she is getting late.
Sagar comes there and asks why she is so surprised. He says he told her that his dad is the head of the department here and that if she has any problem, she can talk to his dad. He asks the seniors if they are her friends. The seniors say yes and leave. Meenu tells Sagar that if he had not come, they would have done her ragging. She asks him to drop her before their lane. Sagar says even he was thinking the same; he doesn’t want her or Anudi to have any problems. She sits in an auto, and her dress gets stuck in the auto, but Sagar frees it.
At Shah house, everyone feels bad for Anuj and Aadhya. Vanraj says Anuj hasn’t had peace and happiness since his birth and tells them that first, his parents abandoned him, then his foster parents died, and so on. Pakhi says she feels bad for him, but that doesn’t mean that wrong things shall happen to them, and says they can’t let him into their locality. Toshu says they can’t risk their children. Vanraj says if Anuj doesn’t want to see her face, then why Anupama has kept him there forcibly. Kinjal asks where he will go then.
Toshu tells them that he can’t stay there. Baa says if he attacks Babuji when he returns. Pakhi says he should stay with his brother and sister-in-law. Vanraj says he will not bear this Asha Bhavan. Anupama will not let Anuj go, so he has to do something. Kinjal asks what he is going to do. Vanraj says they will know when he does something. He comes out and sees Meenu getting down from Sagar’s auto and gets angry. Bala tells Anupama that Anuj doesn’t know what he is saying. Anupama recalls his words.
