Barkha adds that their parties last from sundown to sunrise and says Anupama should have called before coming. Anupama explains she tried calling, but their phones were off.
She expresses her regret about interrupting their celebration but insists she needs to talk about Anuj immediately. Barkha tells her to sit, suggesting they will freshen up and join her shortly. They leave, visibly drunk.Anupama is greeted by Mr. Mehta, an old employee of Anuj’s. He reveals that he can’t find work at his age and is now working here.
He informs Anupama that Anuj has transferred all his business assets, properties, and investments to Ankush and Barkha. Anupama is shocked and inquires when Anuj left for the US. Mr. Mehta mentions they claimed Anuj went to handle business in America. Meanwhile, Barkha drinks lemon water while Ankush remarks that she’s acting as if he invited Anupama. Barkha questions how Anupama discovered them, implying she must be a detective.
Ankush insists they must confront her. Anupama asks Mr. Mehta what he was told, but he departs upon seeing Ankush and Barkha returning.
Anupama questions them about Anuj’s whereabouts, stating she’s searching for him. Ankush and Barkha become tense. Barkha explains they rushed to the US when they received news of Anuj’s accident and that he took two months to recover. She mentions he often called out Aadhya’s name in his sleep.
Anupama thanks them for taking care of Anuj but feels uneasy as she recalls being told Aadhya was a hostel and Anuj was fine. She suspects they are lying and contemplates the truth behind their claims. Barkha states Anuj entrusted them with his business to ensure it continues, as many employees rely on it. Ankush recounts an incident where he found Anuj missing from his room, prompting Anupama to ask if they filed a police report. Barkha admits they did but found nothing.
Ankush brushes off Anupama’s inquiries, saying he struggles to party for their clients. Anupama leaves, determined to uncover the reason behind their deception. Meanwhile, Bala and Anuj exit the house. Bala comments on the mischief of children, noting Anuj’s fondness for them. Anuj imagines Aadhya while looking at Ishu in a dungaree dress, envisioning her asking him to play. He heads toward Shah’s house while Bala is on a call.
Anuj hugs Ishu, mistaking her for Aadhya, causing her to become frightened and shout for help. Baa witnesses this and orders Anuj to release her.
Bala interrupts and clarifies that Ishu is not Aadhya. As Pakhi and Dimpy arrive, they attempt to free Ishu from Anuj’s grasp. Toshu also demands Anuj let her go, but Anuj insists she is his daughter. Vanraj arrives and physically confronts Anuj, claiming he should be kept away from the children.
Anupama arrives just in time to witness the chaos and admonishes Vanraj for attacking Anuj. She reminds him of all the favors Anuj has done for their family and warns him not to mock someone’s helplessness. Baa intervenes, saying it’s not her son’s fault. Pakhi and Dimpy express their fear, while Bala defends Anuj, stating he didn’t mean harm. Toshu accuses Anuj of pushing him while trying to take Ishu. Kinjal and Titu join the fray. Baa urges Anupama to confine Anuj to a room, while Vanraj threatens him further.
WedAnupama asserts that Anuj needs love, not treatment, and promises to handle the situation calmly. She explains to Anuj that Ishu is not Aadhya and pleads with him to understand. Anuj, overwhelmed by grief, declares that Aadhya is dead, shocking everyone. Anupama insists that Aadhya is alive and she is searching for her. Anuj vehemently rejects her claim, blaming Anupama for Aadhya’s death, saying he was blind in love and regrets not talking to Anupama before rushing to bring her back. He recalls Aadhya’s farewell and breaks down in tears.
