Anupama prepares the aarti plate for Meenu’s aarti when Anuj arrives. She asks if he wants anything, and he takes some sweets, starting to eat. Anuj jokes about her saying “eyes spies” instead of “eye spy,” and she insists that she can do what she likes as she is married to him. He tells her it’s time to eat the Prasad now that her puja is done.
Anupama playfully warns him that his tummy will get big if he keeps eating sweets, mentioning that while he looks handsome, he’s getting older. She asks him to put the sweets aside, but Anuj questions why Indian wives can’t just let their husbands be happy. He tries to avoid her suggestion, leading to a playful moment where the sweets fall onto the sofa. Anupama scolds him, but he enjoys the playful banter, calling her spicy.
Bala arrives and informs Anupama that Sagar said he would reach soon. She reassures him that everything will be fine. Sagar drives the auto with Meenu, who asks if he doesn’t get drenched in the rain. Sagar shares a saying about saving wealth from the rain, suggesting that only the body and heart get drenched. Meenu tells him to focus on driving and mentions how much she misses India.
As they drive, Sagar spots Savita crossing the road and stops the auto. She explains she has to go to court but can’t see well. Meenu tells Sagar that two people can fit in the auto. Savita inquires about her notary papers, and Sagar tells her they are done. Savita complains about lawyers’ fees, and Meenu asks if Sagar is a lawyer. He replies he is a student and will soon be an LLB. Meenu asks why he’s driving an auto then, and he explains that without Saraswati Maa, Lakshmi Maa doesn’t come.
The kids play cricket, and the ball accidentally hits Bala. Pari asks him for their ball back, but he insists on punishing them for hitting him. They agree to play with him instead. Bala bats and gets out while Ansh hits the ball toward Indra, causing all the kids to hide, leaving the bat in Bala’s hand. Bala assures the kids he’ll deal with Indra later.
Meenu asks Sagar to stop the auto and gets down. She approaches someone and admits it was her mistake to break off their relationship and expresses her love, asking the pani puri vendor to make spicy pani puri. Sagar is surprised by her emotional outburst but admires her as she enjoys the food. Baa checks with Kinjal about the aarti plate, and Kinjal confirms it’s ready. Ansh walks in, and Vanraj tells him to sit down for a moment. Baa insists on helping her grandchildren, saying they will understand when Ansh goes abroad for studies.
Dimpy receives a call from a friend and tells Titu she’ll be going out to discuss an event over coffee, inviting him to join. Titu reminds her that Meenu is coming and they can’t go out. Dimpy insists on staying home and accuses him of forgetting about romance, reminiscing about their romantic walks before marriage. Titu, however, expresses a desire for a daughter, saying his love for children hasn’t diminished even after adopting. Dimpy objects, not wanting another child, arguing about the complexity of their family dynamics.
Nandita places her baby in a cradle, lamenting the absence of Anudi. She declares the baby will become a lawyer to fight for women suffering from dowry issues. Sushil enters, taking the baby from the cradle. Nandita screams for help, revealing that Sushil has run off with her child. They all rush to stop him. Titu intervenes, taking the baby back and returning her to Nandita. Anupama expresses her gratitude to Titu. Sushil claims daughters are a curse, leading to Nandita slapping him. Bala takes Sushil to the police station, and Nandita is advised to be strong for her baby. Titu watches the baby as she holds his hand, and Anupama comments on how life changes when a baby holds someone’s hand.
Sagar arrives in his auto, and Meenu gets down. Anupama instructs someone to bring the aarti as she spots Meenu. Baa gathers everyone, announcing that Meenu has returned. Meenu affectionately calls Anupama “Mami” and hugs her. Anupama expresses her joy at seeing her, commenting on her hair and asking where she’s been for the last five years. Sagar, watching, thinks he brought the wrong Meenakshi. Anupama reflects on how Meenu used to hold her pallu and assures her she will still hold it.
