Badimaa sits deep in thought, reflecting on her husband. She murmurs, “What have you given me?” Feeling guilty, she recalls how Kumari was happy earlier that morning but is now crying because of her. She approaches Kumari to calm her down, apologizing for arguing with her in front of everyone. Kumari complains about not having good bangles, and Badimaa reassures her, saying she has called a bangle seller to the house, and Kumari can buy as many as she wants. Badimaa expresses her determination, saying she will bear all pain but ensure Kumari’s happiness. She vows to fight anyone who tries to take Kumari away from her.
Kumari lights up at the sight of the bangles. The girls gather around to admire them. Kumud arrives, followed by Saras and Sunny. Saras’s gaze immediately falls on Kumud.
Sunny nudges Saras to begin their plan. They join the girls, and Saras compliments Radha, suggesting blue bangles will suit her. He flirts with Radha, trying to make Kumud jealous. Radha poses as Saras takes her picture, but Kumud remains unaffected, not even glancing their way. Frustrated, Saras asks Sunny what to do next. Sunny whispers some tips, but Saras feels awkward and nervous about continuing. Radha seeks more compliments, mentioning her mother says she resembles Lakshmi Devi. Saras half-heartedly agrees. He later tells Sunny that the plan isn’t working. “If Kumud truly loves me, she would’ve been jealous by now,” he laments.
Kusum overhears and questions Sunny about Saras’s behavior with Radha. She warns him that Kumud’s love is deep and pure, and such tactics won’t affect her. Sunny realizes they need a new plan, and Kumari suggests Kumud might get annoyed first, but Saras will win her over eventually.
Scene shifts to Kumud:
Kumud plays with water and flowers when Saras approaches and splashes water on her. He teasingly asks if she enjoyed him taking Radha’s pictures. Kumud calmly replies, “Yes, Radha seemed happy.” Saras challenges her, saying, “If someone else took your photos, I wouldn’t bear it.” He asks if she wasn’t jealous. Kumud, unfazed, says no.
Saras, irritated, questions her lack of jealousy. She replies, “Where there is trust, there is no jealousy; and where there is jealousy, there is no love.” She assures him, “You don’t need to hurt me to prove your love. You’ve seen me in every form, yet my love for you has never wavered.” She adds, “Your image isn’t just in water; it’s etched in my heart forever.”
Saras, moved by her words, smiles. Kumud playfully asks him to help her wear bangles. He gently holds her hand, sliding the bangles on as they exchange intense glances. Saras kisses her hand, making Kumud shyly turn away. She softly compliments him, “You look very handsome today.” Saras beams with happiness.
Scene shifts to Vidyachatur:
Vidyachatur and Laxminandan reminisce about their childhood, sharing laughter. Meanwhile, the girls enjoy applying mehendi. Kumud joins them as Kumari teases Sejal. Kusum suggests they write Sejal’s husband’s name in such a way that he’ll spend all night searching for it. Sunny humorously explains that writing the name symbolizes, “I am officially yours.” Kumud excuses herself for some work and leaves.
In her room, Kumud searches for something when Saras follows her, locking the door behind him. Surprised, she asks why he’s there. Suddenly, she trips, and he catches her. They share a tender eye lock and smile. Saras gazes at her with deep love. Kumud, flustered, warns, “Someone might come.” Saras confidently replies, “Let them.”
As she repeatedly tells him to leave, Saras insists he cannot. He moves closer, cornering her against the mirror. Kumud nervously says, “Don’t look at me like that,” placing her hand on his face. Saras gently removes her hand and asks why. She smiles and says, “Your eyes…”
Saras asks whose name she plans to write in her mehendi. Kumud playfully challenges him to wait and see. He responds, “I’m eager to see my name in your hands.” When she questions why, he tenderly says, “Because I’ve written your name on my heart.” Saras leans in, kissing her hand with closed eyes. Kumud feels the moment deeply, turning to look at him. They move even closer, lost in each other’s presence.
