The episode starts with the entire family sitting at the dining table. Laxminandan stands up and asks Vidyachatur to stand as well. Vidyachatur stands with his head lowered. Laxminandan tells him that he shouldn’t have hidden the information about the haveli, explaining that he refrained from telling him because he didn’t want to hurt him. He adds that while most people fight to hurt each other, they quarrel for each other’s well-being. He declares that their friendship has only grown stronger. Vidyachatur smiles, and they reconcile with a hug. Everyone smiles, except Ghuman, who is visibly irked. Meanwhile, Kumud and Saras exchange sad glances, turning away from each other as “Piya Re” plays in the background.
Kumud’s mother remarks that it is Dwarkhanath’s blessings that the friends have reconciled. She mentions that it is good that they have let go of their anger. Badimaa then brings up the ladoos being prepared for the guests and mentions that Jain Bhai and Bhabhi are coming for Sejal, as the alliance has been fixed. Kumari becomes excited at the mention of Sejal’s upcoming marriage. Badimaa teases her, reminding her that it’s Sejal’s wedding, not hers.
Kumari is told not to dress too extravagantly, or people might mistake her for the bride. Kusum playfully defends Kumari, but Badimaa advises her to behave more like Kumud. Kumud’s mother intervenes, asking Kumud to apologize to Saras. However, Kumud refuses, claiming that Saras started the argument. Her mother insists that apologizing does not make one smaller and asks her to serve ladoos to Saras as a gesture of reconciliation, but Kumud declines politely.
Sunny enters and asks for some tantalizing ladoos. Kumud’s mother gives him some, and Kusum and Kumari get an idea. They encourage Sunny to eat more ladoos and inform him that they need to discuss something important with him. Sunny, curious, asks what it is.
Meanwhile, Vidyachatur and Laxminandan discuss the upcoming function. Laxminandan gets a call and becomes preoccupied, prompting Vidyachatur to suggest handing over all the business responsibilities to Saras and settling down in Ratnagiri. Laxminandan shares that he plans to do so in 4–5 years. Ghuman overhears their conversation and silently fumes. Saras and Kumud continue to avoid each other, reflecting the ongoing tension between them.
Laxminandan receives another call, during which he discusses the wedding arrangements, ensuring the decorations will be grand. Vidyachatur recalls their own wedding and shares a laugh with Laxminandan. Ghuman interjects, sarcastically suggesting they keep their enthusiasm for their children’s weddings. Laxminandan reassures Vidyachatur that they’ll put on a splendid sangeet celebration. Saras later apologizes to Vidyachatur for his behavior the previous day. Vidyachatur acknowledges that both Saras and Kumud acted out of love for their respective parents. He advises Saras to bring Kumud to meet the women from the Jain family.
Saras relays Vidyachatur’s message to Kumari, asking her to inform Kumud. Kumari cheekily suggests that Saras deliver the message himself since Kumud is busy.
The women from the Jain family arrive, and Badimaa and Kumud’s mother warmly welcome them. Sejal seeks their blessings, and her mother expresses gratitude to Laxminandan and Vidyachatur for hosting the wedding. She mentions that their own home is small and appreciates their generosity. Kumud’s mother assures her that Sejal is like a daughter to them, and Badimaa promises a grand wedding celebration. Kumari asks Sejal if her bridal dress is from Lalit Bhai’s shop. Sejal confirms, and Kumari jokingly scolds her for not consulting her.
Saras and Sunny arrive at the hall, where Kumari, Kusum, and Kumud are discussing wedding attire. Sunny congratulates Sejal and jokes about having daily sweets. Saras and Kumud exchange glares again. Sunny tries to lighten the mood by offering Saras some sweets, but Saras hesitates and refrains from taking them. Kumud, annoyed, remarks that she doesn’t want to force anyone and walks away. Kusum and Kumari note that the tension between them has escalated. Sunny devises a plan and shares it with them.
Sunny later convinces Saras to come to the terrace, pretending he needs better network reception to message his “girlfriend.” Kusum and Kumari, in the meantime, persuade Kumud to check a dupatta meant for Sejal, claiming it’s on the terrace. Reluctantly, Kumud agrees. On the terrace, Saras and Kumud end up alone together. They bicker about the previous day’s events, each blaming the other.
Their playful argument mirrors a typical husband-and-wife squabble. Midway, they hear their fathers laughing together downstairs, which reminds them of their own fight. Both Saras and Kumud burst into laughter. Saras apologizes first, holding his ears as a sign of remorse. Kumud softens and apologizes as well, holding her ears. They agree to move past their fight, and the tension between them dissolves into shared laughter. Kusum and Kumari witness this moment and are delighted. The episode ends with Kumud admiring Saras as he laughs, while “Piya Re” plays again in the background.
