Kumud’s mother begins the morning puja while Saras and Kumud exchange sweet smiles. After the puja, as Kumud’s mother distributes the aarti, Ghuman questions Kumud about her whereabouts the previous night. Caught off guard, Kumud hesitates before replying that she was in her room. Ghuman claims she checked her room and didn’t find her there, leaving everyone stunned.
However, Badimaa intervenes, claiming Kumud was with her at the time, diffusing the situation. Ghuman leaves, slightly suspicious, while Saras and Kumud share a moment of relief.
Later, Vidyachatur complains about the heat as the power continues to fluctuate. Amid lighthearted banter, Badimaa notices Saras looking for Kumud and subtly teases him. Kumud is also searching for Saras, much to Badimaa’s amusement. Meanwhile, Saras ventures into the kitchen under the guise of looking for water but is clearly hoping to see Kumud. Kumari teases Saras before he leaves unsuccessful in his quest.
Soon, Kumari informs Kumud that Saras was in the kitchen, which makes Kumud blush. The two finally cross paths and exchange shy smiles as “O Piya” plays in the background. Kumud hands Saras a drink, and their unspoken connection deepens. As Kumud’s mother asks for help with throwing water on the shade, Saras and Kumud work together, stealing glances and sharing smiles. Ghuman watches from afar, seething with jealousy.
Saras later joins Vidyachatur to inspect a plot of land for the school. Upon returning, Sunny passes a note to Kumari for Kumud, who then hands it to Saras. Yash, seeing the note exchange, mischievously swaps it. Ghuman, noticing the trick, appears pleased. Saras and Kumud read the altered messages, unaware of Yash and Ghuman’s interference.
On the roof, Saras waits for Kumud, his heart racing as he hears the sound of her payal. Their chemistry intensifies as they recall their first meeting. However, they soon realize neither of them sent the notes, suspecting someone is playing tricks. Kumud hurriedly leaves but encounters Ghuman, who reveals she orchestrated the meeting. Ghuman warns Kumud to stay away from Saras, asserting that she will not let Kumud become part of his life. Kumud boldly defends herself, vowing that nothing can break the bond between their families.
