Laxminandan gives a small gift to Kumud, making her happy. Ghuman interrupts and insists Laxminandan come with her to discuss something. He asks about Saras, but Kumud assures him she will bring him.Meanwhile, Sunny confronts Saras about avoiding his father.
Saras explains that during their time in Dubai, his father never tried to connect with him. Kumud arrives and informs Saras that Laxminandan is calling him. Sunny teasingly mentions Kusum’s confession about staying outside Saras’s room all night, leaving Saras surprised.
After Sunny leaves, Saras gives the lantern to Kumud, telling her not to worry about him. Kumud expresses hope that his father came to meet him. His words make everyone happy, except for Ghuman, who grows jealous of the strengthening bonds. Kumud ensures Saras sits beside Laxminandan, who shares light moments with the family. Vidyachatur reminisces about their childhood, and Laxminandan decides to sleep outside with him, despite Ghuman’s objections. Kumud supports this and subtly encourages father-son bonding.
Later, Laxminandan talks to Saras, expressing regret over their distant relationship and sharing pride in Saras’s childhood achievements. He urges Saras to reconsider his feelings for Kumud with a clear mind. As Saras falls asleep, Laxminandan lovingly covers him with a blanket. Kumud reflects on the change love has brought to Laxminandan and Saras’s relationship. She feels hopeful about fulfilling her promise.
