Badimaa asks Kusum where Kumud is, and Kusum replies that Kumud is in the kitchen making tea. When Badimaa enters the kitchen, she questions why Saras skipped breakfast. Kumud offers her tea and asks if she cares deeply for Saras, suggesting there might be another reason behind it. Badimaa acknowledges that they can’t hide anything from each other and shares that Saraswati, Saras’s mother, was her best friend.
Badimaa reminisces about how she was responsible for taking care of Saras after Saraswati’s passing and recalls the pain of Ghuman taking him away. She tells Kumud that Ghuman suppressed Saras’s feelings but hasn’t completely won. Badimaa believes they can revive Saras’s suppressed emotions. Kumud reassures her, remembering the promise she made to help. Later, Saras and Sunny arrive, and Vidyachatur returns home. Sunny jokes about Saras’s behavior, making Kumud smile.
Saras, however, remains guarded and leaves when Sunny teases him about Kumud. Sunny encourages Kumud to stay hopeful, and she decides to move to the next step in her plan, enlisting Sunny’s help. Meanwhile, Kumari is seen secretly meeting a sub-inspector. He expresses his love for her and promises marriage, leaving her blushing. She worries about being caught but shares her feelings with him.
Back at the house, Kumud brings a tray of chilies near Saras, who is working on his laptop. Pretending that chili powder has gotten into her eyes, she cries out, forcing Saras to help her. He gently pours water on her eyes and wipes them, creating a tender moment. As Kumud opens her eyes, their gaze locks. She apologizes for hurting him before, and Saras says he has forgiven her. However, he insists on keeping emotional distance, leaving Kumud hurt.
Later, Sunny praises the village and jokes with Kumud that if he found someone like her, he’d settle down. He tries to cheer her up, but she shares her frustration about Saras creating more emotional barriers. Meanwhile, Saras reflects on his growing feelings for Kumud but convinces himself that keeping distance is necessary. Sunny tries to lighten Saras’s mood and succeeds in making him laugh, while Kumud resolves to make Saras truly smile and open his heart.
