Vidyachatur, unaware of Saras rejecting the proposal, defends Kumud, saying she was with her to-be husband. Kumud reassures her father that her mother and Badimaa were merely worried for her. Yash’s mother then criticizes Kumud, but Kumud promises to uphold her dignity. Badimaa intervenes, assigning Kumud a task to take milk to Shiv Mandir. Kumud complies and leaves.
At Ilaben’s house, her son asks for milk. Kumud arrives with milk as Prasad, which Ilaben accepts, praising Kumud’s character. Ilaben remarks that whoever marries Kumud will be very fortunate.
