Yash is calculating the expenses for Vidyachatur when his mother says it’s his responsibility to manage the business after Vidyachatur. Meanwhile, Kusum notices Saras approaching and informs Vidyachatur. He goes to meet Saras and asks him to remove his shoes. Everyone notices his clothes and shoes drenched in mud.
Kumud’s mother kneels to remove his shoes, triggering Saras’s memories of Ghuman scolding him in childhood for dirtying his clothes and forcing him to wash them himself. Vidyachatur asks if Saras fell and got hurt, but Saras shakes his head. Vidyachatur orders Kusum to bring tea for him. As Saras reminisces about Ghuman’s mistreatment, Yash splashes water on him to clean the mud.
Kumari protests, but Yash laughs and continues. They start playfully splashing water on each other, and Saras joins in, laughing for the first time. Vidyachatur chuckles, calling it an early Diwali celebration. Kumud’s mother lovingly towels Saras’s hair, and he feels deeply touched by her motherly gesture.Vidyachatur takes Saras to the hall and insists he drink tea and change his clothes. He instructs Kumud to bring ghatia, but Saras declines.
Kumud coldly remarks that if he doesn’t want it, they shouldn’t force him. Vidyachatur then tells everyone to complete their chores early as they’ll sing and dance since it’s Tuesday.Saras returns to his room and finds his belongings packed. Kumud walks in and informs him she packed his things, saying there’s no need for him to rectify her mistakes. She admits inviting him was a big mistake and tells him to leave.
Saras begins to speak, but Kumud interrupts, accusing him of running away from himself and being incapable of building relationships. She orders him to leave before sunrise.Saras tries to defend his decision, recalling the letter he wrote to refuse the marriage. However, Kumud counters by quoting his own words about their meeting being like a “cut kite” and accuses him of not caring. Saras stands speechless as Kumud walks away.
Later, Kumari and Kusum invite Kumud to a dance show. Vidyachatur observes the tension between Kumud and Saras. He advises Kumud to keep trying and apologize to Saras for his sake. In his room, Saras searches for his phone and stumbles upon Kumud’s sketches of his eyes. Kumari enters and playfully shows him the sketches, explaining how Kumud dreamt of his eyes even before their alliance was proposed.
She reveals that Kumud initially rejected the proposal but changed her mind after seeing his photo. Saras remembers Kumud’s poetry and stares at the sketches, reflecting on her feelings. He quietly accepts her anger.Meanwhile, Badi Maa looks at photos of Saras and recalls Vidyachatur’s words and her moments with Saras. She thinks of Ghuman’s claim that Saras follows her values and moral principles. Badi Maa grows emotional, lamenting Ghuman’s influence over Saras.
As Kumud walks through the house, her anklet slips from her pallu. Saras hears it and comes out of his room. They exchange glances as the music of “Kuch Na Kaho” plays softly in the background. Kumud retrieves the anklet and leaves while Saras hides behind a pillar, whispering an apology. Mamaji interrupts, addressing him as “damadji,” and invites him to join the ongoing singing and dancing. Saras looks for Kumud but reluctantly agrees to go downstairs.
