Kusum questions her, pointing out that she mentioned Saras will be celebrating Sankranti here. She asks if Kumud is happy for Bapu or herself, adding that Saras isn’t who they thought he was. Kumud replies, “He saved Bapu’s life and is staying back, but he also wrote that letter to me.”
Kusum advises her to set her ego aside. Kumud’s mother then asks if she stopped Saras from telling Bapu everything. Kumud remains firm, holding on to her pride. Her mother warns her, saying if Saras reveals everything to Bapu, it might be difficult for him to cope. She urges Kumud to go and thank Saras, but Kumud replies, “This is all because of him.” Badi Maa steps in and says that Vidya Bhai stopped Saras for Sankranti.
Kusum persuades Kumud to get ready and go thank Saras. Kumud leaves. In Dubai, Laxminandan tries calling Saras, but his phone is unreachable. He tells Ghuman that Saras’s phone isn’t reachable. Ghuman’s sister walks in, greets them, and teases Ghuman, suggesting that Laxminandan has been exercising to look as young as her. Just then, Laxminandan receives a call from Vidyachatur, who wishes him for Sankranti and invites him to come over.
Vidyachatur shares how Saras saved him from a fire at his factory, expressing that he might not have survived if not for Saras. Both Laxminandan and Ghuman are shocked. Vidyachatur hands the phone to Saras, who explains to Laxminandan that he wants to build a hospital in his mother’s name, which is why he came. Laxminandan asks about their business deal, and Saras replies that Sunny is handling it. Vidyachatur is taken aback by this news.
After Saras hands the phone back, Vidyachatur assures Laxminandan not to worry about Saras, who is managing everything from his laptop. Laxminandan smiles, but Ghuman is clearly unhappy. Vidyachatur also informs Laxminandan that Saras will be celebrating Sankranti with them this year, while inviting Laxminandan to join them next year as part of their family.
Ghuman points out to Laxminandan that Saras went to Gujarat without informing him, which has never happened before. Laxminandan laughs, explaining that he chose Kumud for Saras because she would influence him. Ghuman comments that Kumud is very intelligent, and Laxminandan adds that the land deal was just an excuse; Saras went to Ratnagiri to meet Kumud. Laxminandan congratulates Ghuman and leaves, and she gives a wicked smile.
In Ratnagiri, Kumud’s family is preparing for Sankranti. Kumud spots Saras, and their eyes meet, making Kumud smile shyly. Badi Maa notices and asks Kumud if she found what she was searching for, but Kumud denies searching for anything. Badi Maa tells her, “You want to thank him, but remember, he doesn’t deserve it.”
As the preparations continue, Saras checks on Vidyachatur, who assures him he’s not in pain. Saras promises to get the factory repaired, noting that the damage wasn’t extensive. Vidyachatur thanks him. Watching from afar, Kumud smiles. Kumari, noticing Saras, teases him, saying if he likes any color, he should let her know so she can have Kumud wear it.As they prepare kites, Saras’s eyes meet Kumud’s, and the song “Kuch na kahe, Bas chup rahe” plays in the background.
A breeze flows in as kites take to the sky, and when Saras and Kumud both reach for the same kite, their hands touch, causing Kumud to blush and Saras to smile.Yash notices them and teases, making Kumud leave. Saras gets a call from Sunny, who asks about Kumud. Saras admits he hasn’t looked at her properly, prompting Sunny to encourage him to do so. Sunny reminds him that he initially went to reject her, which makes Saras contemplative.
Later, Vidyachatur asks Kumud to bring Sankranti uttarayan for Saras. Saras, feeling thirsty, requests water from Yash, who refuses. Kumud enters, partially hiding her face with the uttarayan and hands it to Saras, saying her Bapu sent it. As she tries to leave, Yash brings him a soft drink. In Dubai, Ghuman stares at the kites while Laxminandan joins her. She instructs a servant to make the kites prettier and prepare more laddus.
Laxminandan asks her what she’s planning, and she says she wants to surprise him for Sankranti. He replies that Vidyachatur’s call spoiled the surprise, but she insists there’s more to it—they could celebrate in Ratnagiri since Saras is there. However, Laxminandan says it’s not possible as he has a meeting and tells her to go alone. Ghuman smiles and agrees, pointing out that as Saras’s mother and Vidyachatur’s future in-law, she’ll be welcomed.
Back in Kumud’s home, Yash mentions the kite-flying competition. Mami asks Saras if he knows how to fly a kite, and Kumud jokes that he probably can’t even hold one. Mami chimes in, noting that he’s a Gujarati but doesn’t know how to fly a kite. Saras responds that he’ll learn if someone teaches him. Kumari suggests couples should fly kites together, and Vidyachatur pairs Kumud with Saras. Saras decides that he will see how long Kumud can avoid him.
