Virendra says to Neelam that Rishi will drown in sorrow if she admits Lakshmi in the mental asylum. Virendra reminds Neelam that she was the one who always used to say that they needed to accept a person completely no matter what kind of weakness he had.Neelam gets fed up and leaves from there.Lakshmi asks Virendra if she can stay here as Neelam wants to send her again to the mental asylum. Karishma complaints to Virendra that everyone is commenting on them saying the Oberoi family daughter in law has gone mad. Rishi comes and says to Karishma to tell them to talk to him. Rishi comes and asks Lakshmi how did she come here. Lakshmi says he scolded her that she couldn’t even cross the road so she came home alone.
Harleen says the person who dropped the Lakshmi at their home is Lakshmi’s previous shop owner. Rishi thinks with good people always good things happens.
Malishka complaints to Sonal that Lakshmi is really lucky. Malishka says she doesn’t know if her enemy is Rishi or Lakshmi. Sonal asks Malishka not to think like that and says Lakshmi is her enemy and Rishi is not her enemy. Sonal says if Lakshmi regains her past then she will be in trouble. Malishka says that’s why she wanted to send Lakshmi to the mental asylum. Sonal asks Malishka who she tried to call before.Shalu and Bani hug Lakshmi and they feel relieved as Lakshmi returned home.
Rishi says to Lakshmi that Ayush is his brother and says to Lakshmi that she can always go to him if she has any problem when he isn’t around. Ayush feels elated as Lakshmi talks to him and they have a group hug.Ayush, Shalu and Bani come to Virendra, Harleen and Karishma. Virendra and Harleen praise all three of them for what they have done for Lakshmi after getting to know what happened from them. Karishma complaints saying Ayush never thinks of her. Ayush assures Karishma that he always loves her and says there is only a difference of perspective in between them. Ayush takes Shalu and Bani to their home.

Ayush sees Shalu is staring at him angrily so he leaves from there making up a reason.Virendra comes to Neelam and asks Neelam if the distance in between them became so big that they are always fighting nowadays. Neelam asks Virendra to tell her as these kind of fights never happened in the past but from when Lakshmi entered their lives they are always fighting. Virendra asks Neelam to forget about Lakshmi and asks Neelam to support Rishi as both of them want him to be happy.

Lakshmi talks to Rishi while sleeping on his lap. Rishi also goes to sleep and puts his head on Lakshmi.An old man asks Balwinder to wake up and kicks him. Balwinder catches his leg and later chokes him. Balwinder warns him to leave and the old man leaves from there.
Lakshmi asks Dadi what is she doing. Dadi says she is decorating the Mandir to do Pooja. Lakshmi asks Harleen if she can help. Harleen agrees. Lakshmi helps Harleen in decorating the Mandir.
Sonia comes and asks Karishma what is Lakshmi doing again in the house as she went to the mental asylum. Karishma says Rishi, Virendra and Harleeen don’t want Lakshmi to stay there and they brought her home. Sonia asks Karishma why didn’t she and Neelam try to stop it. Karishma says Neelam tried to send Lakshmi to the mental asylum but Virendra stopped her.
Sonia asks Karishma if they will not be able to do anything about Lakshmi. Karishma says they will do something and asks Sonia not to worry.After the Pooja, Harleen asks Rishi and Lakshmi to take the elder’s blessings. Rishi and Lakshmi take Virendra and Neelam’s blessings.Karishma also blesses Rishi and Lakshmi to be happy. Sonia asks Karishma to give him some more blessings as he needs it. Sonia comments on Rishi becoming Lakshmi’s servant. Rishi says to Sonia that he is happy to have a wife like Lakshmi.
Virendra warns Sonia to not speak ill of Lakshmi and rebukes her. Sonia leaves from there. Neelam asks Virendra how could he talk to Sonia like that. Harleen asks Virendra and Neelam not to argue as today is new year. Karishma asks Harleen why are they allowing Lakshmi to stay in the house if these many arguments are happening because of her. Rishi argues with Karishma. Lakshmi asks Rishi not to argue with others for her and says she will leave right away and tries to leave but Rishi stops her.Mukesh closes the main door and says to Rishi and others that the police and mental asylum doctor are coming here.

Rishi says to Lakshmi that she should play hide and seek with the police and the doctor and says she should hide from them. Rishi says if they find her they will take her away from Rishi. Lakshmi says she will not be caught this time. Rishi whispers in Lakshmi’s ear where she has to hide. Lakshmi agrees and leaves from there.The police and the doctor come to the Oberoi mansion. Virendra asks the police why did they come here. The police says the doctor has filed a complaint against them that they took Lakshmi out of the mental asylum. Rishi asks the police where is Lakshmi if she isn’t in the mental asylum.
The doctor argues with Rishi saying he took Lakshmi away from the mental asylum. Rishi denies the doctor’s accusation and says Lakshmi isn’t here. The police asks them to stop their argument and says they will find out once they search for Lakshmi. The police starts searching all of the Oberoi mansion for Lakshmi. Rishi nd Virendra say to the doctor that Lakshmi isn’t here so the cops will not find her. Virendra says after that they will file a case against him. The doctor seeing Rishi and Virendra so confident thinks they might have hidden Lakshmi some place else.
