VidyaChatur tried to come between her and Laxmi by shaming her, but now, after Saras’s refusal of Kumud, he won’t dare show his face. Kumud’s father struggles to breathe, and they decide to take him home. Kumud sets off on a bicycle to fetch a doctor, braving the pouring rain.
As they arrive home with her father, one of the village ladies questions why they didn’t take him directly to the doctor, especially since Kumud had intended to bring one back. Saras quickly sets up a live video call with their family doctor in Dubai, who instructs him on how to help. Kumud, however, finds the local hospital closed and is left uncertain of what to do next.Saras informs everyone that he consulted their family doctor and asks Kumud’s mother if he can proceed with the treatment, awaiting her approval.
