Ishaan calls the newspaper editor and confronts him for printing false news about the Bhosales. Savi walks into the office, throws the newspaper on the editor’s table, and questions him about the false news. The editor welcomes her and says her news made their newspaper an overnight sensation.Savi asserts that it’s false news and that the whole city knows the Bhosale family is reputable and can’t do anything wrong. She warns him to write an apology letter by tomorrow, or she will file a case against him and shut down his newspaper.
The editor gets afraid and asks a peon to call reporter Rakesh. However, Rakesh escapes upon seeing Savi and instructs the peon to inform the editor that he went on an important lead. The peon informs the editor that Rakesh has run away. The editor gets tense, and Savi tells him that his reporter’s escape is a sign to either apologize or prepare for legal action.
Ishaan remains adamant that Savi can’t do this. Reeva insists that Savi considers him and his family as her enemy and can indeed do this.Ishaan reminds Savi that she supported them when reporter Sheela tried to print false news against them. He tells Reeva that he can’t go out with her today and walks away, leaving Reeva upset.
Durva comments that Savi spoiled her birthday. Reeva declares that she will not let Savi defame Ishaan and vows to confront her.Savi returns to her tea shop. Shukla’s wife offers her water and hopes she taught the reporter a nice lesson. Savi asks them to visit the temple while she handles the tea shop.
Shukla’s wife informs Savi that Chinmay has left a gift for her. Savi opens the gift box and smiles upon seeing her books. She starts listening to a live lecture online and reads her book. Reeva walks to her and snatches her book, saying she was worried for Savi, but Savi misused Ishaan. Savi asks her to listen to her once.
Reeva accuses Savi of betraying Ishaan, saying he has done so many favors for her, such as paying her fees, covering her sister’s medical bills, and saving her life. Savi offers Reeva tea and asks her to leave, stating that this is between her and Ishaan, and they will sort it out. Reeva warns Savi to spare her Ishaan and walks away.
Shukla’s wife asks Savi who the girl was who was calling Ishaan hers. Savi admits that Reeva is right; Ishaan was supposed to marry her.Shukla notices Rakesh coming and praises him for covering Savi’s article. Rakesh says they made huge profits with this article and came to share some with them.
Shukla takes him to Savi. Rakesh offers her an envelope and says the editor got afraid of her and sent him to calm her down. Savi checks the money in the envelope.Reeva silently clicks a picture and leaves. Savi rebukes Rakesh for printing false news and warns him to inform his editor to print an apology, or else face dire consequences.
Rakesh apologizes and leaves, promising to print an apology tomorrow. Reeva shows the photo to Ishaan and claims that Savi was acting and took money from the journalist. She is sure Savi must have sold question papers.
Ishaan walks away, fuming.Savi takes her book out to study again when Ishaan walks in and confronts her about taking money from the journalist and selling fake news. He shows her a video and tells her he made a big mistake by trusting her and that she betrayed him.
Savi counters that he is the one who betrayed her by hiding the truth that he is responsible for her family’s death. She asks him to leave, stating that she needs to study.Ishaan walks away, saying he is going and will take steps he should have taken long ago. Savi sits crying, recalling his words.
