Sarah Informs Juan About Her Pregnancy. Pedro Tørtüres & K!lls His Own Mother. Modesto Witnesses The Horrible Crime. Amidst The Evil Schemes Of Pedro & Julieta, Sarah Makes A Shocking Decision.
At the study, Sarah affirms that they really need to talk. Juan tries to start the conversation explaining how important she is to him but then she interrupts him and tells him that she has something important to tell him, straight to the point she tells Juan that she is pregnant.
At the Cantina, Salvador returns with the good news; he tells Cornelio that Mati wasn’t a good criminal mastermind. Paloma was able to prove Brandon’s innocence in a twinkle of an eye. The talk shifts to the bottle of wine and Cornelio tells Salvador that he replaced it with a new one and he gave the old one to a friend. Salvador is confused by this when he remembers what happened with Deborah.
Anyway Cornelio tells him that Prospero came to see him earlier. He gets even more confused because Cornelio looks unconcerned and unbothered, he can’t be the criminal. Juan is happy and wants to celebrate the pregnancy with the best words ever but Sarah doesn’t let him do so. He begs her to calm down. They should take this calmly so that they avoid saying anything they could regret.
We are treated to a long eye contact over here. Pedro is still tørtüring his mom. They go back and forth telling each other how bad they are and Pedro tells Aurora that she’s the one who made him who he is and because of that everyone despises him including the one woman he’s ever løved. He laments that it is the curse of being her son that is tormenting him. He makes it clear to her that he’s been dreaming of this moment.
Anyway he has a piece of bread and he goes ahead and pours some white powder on it. Aurora looks really scared. Simon and Paloma are in their room still mad at each other. As a good wife Paloma tells him that she doesn’t want to keep fighting they should not go to bed while still mad at each other. Simon wants to know why she was checking his laptop about the antidepressants and why she was speculating that he pøisoñed Deborah.
Does she still think he k!lled his dad too? Simon tells her how he believes in her but he’s shocked she doesn’t trust him fully, how could she even think that he’s a mürderer. Pedro has a flashback of the tørtüres he went through because of Aurora. He remembers when she tied him and Juan and used a belt to beat them. He also remembers when Aurora threw a pøisoñed piece of bread to him and told him that he should consider his stronger instinct, either his will to eat or live.
He remembers wanting to eat that piece of bread but then Juan snatched it from him and threw it away and promised to find him something to eat. Back to present Pedro asks Aurora the same thing and puts the poisoned bread in her mouth. She begins foaming and bleeding. As she struggles Pedro watches and tells her that she thought they were the same but no she was wrong because he’s worse than her. Aurora d!es and Pedro cries.
Back to Sarah and Juan, he tries to say that they should talk about this together and come to an understanding but she tells him that she doesn’t want more people to be heartbroken; she will leave the ranch, the inheritance and all the fights to go live somewhere else and raise her child alone.
She’ll be a single mother and that’s her decision. Juan can’t say anything on that. Once upon a time she lóved Juan so much but now her focus shifts – she løves the baby that is to be born. In the hallway Simon remembers the argument between Severiano and Catalina. Severiano was begging Catalina that they should work things out for the sake of the boys.
Simon swears that he doesn’t want that to happen again. Lucas comes in asking why he’s talking to the ceiling and Simon asks if he can sleep in his room. Lucas asks if he had a fight with Paloma and before he answers he notices Lucas’s bruised face – Pedro punched him, Simon acknowledges that Pedro is out of control and they are all worried about him.
Back to Pedro, after he k!lls Aurora, he buries her body in the farm and guess who is still watching the whole horror film, Modesto. He’s still watching instead of calling the police or even Juan for help (not all old men are wise). Paloma wakes up late at night and realizes that she’s alone in bed. She wonders where Simon is. She meets Sarah who is also not asleep yet and they offer each other a comforting hug for their distress.
Salvador is still scratching his head wondering if Cornelio is the culprit. He remembers asking Cornelio why he wanted wine when he always prefers beer and Cornelio told him that he and Brayan were super drunk and they felt like drinking the most expensive bottle of wine. Now Salvador doesn’t know how we will join the pieces of evidence. He asks God for help because he doesn’t want to jump into conclusions.
Juan looks at Severiano’s portrait with eyes full of tears remembering Sarah’s words.Mateo walks in munching his late night snack(I thought only happens on luhya land but these people also eat at night LOL). Juan talks to Mateo telling him that whatever Pedro said wasn’t true because their parents løved them and were proud of them all. They both agree that something is wrong with Pedro but anyway Mateo asks Juan if he looked at the DNA results presented by Julieta closely.
At the Cruz’s, they are all asleep when they are awakened by Rosa who is here to bring their wife, Jessica back to her husband. There’s a lot of funny scenes here and Brandon notices all the idiocy of the moment and goes back to sleep. Jessica is still pressuring on the cheating talk and blah blah but Brayan is still not comfortable sharing his ordeal with Pedro.
Juan asks Mateo if he really thinks that Julieta’s baby is his but before they go deeper into this they are interrupted by Julieta who is here to tell them that Modesto is not fine. We are taken to the kitchen where Modesto is vomiting into the kitchen sink. Everyone panics and Mateo calls a doctor. Modesto faints. I guess it’s because of what he saw. Sarah and Paloma are not aware of what is happening downstairs, still discussing their problems.
Sarah is talking about the tough decision she’s to make and Paloma is talking about Simon and her arguing. Anyway they can count on each other. She also tells Paloma that she’s pregnant but doesn’t want to come between Juan and Julieta as an obstacle. Also this will cause more problems with Pedro and Julieta, a rejected man and a hurt woman can be a bad combination.
Modesto wakes up and protests that he doesn’t need a doctor. Pedro walks down and Modesto looks at him and looks away in fear. This old man should have been in the police station yapping out instead of fainting. To be honest if I see my housemate k!lling someone I won’t even go back to that house. The next morning Pedro and Julieta take a stroll discussing light matters like k!lling babies and blah blah but wait.
Julieta wants to k!ll Sarah and the baby and Pedro wants to k!ll the baby alone. Julieta talks about all being set; Sarah will go for a horseback ride with the untamable horse and the next news they will hear is a problem solved. The two trade evil stares as they depart. Juan and Lucas are going down the stairs talking about their daily schedule.
Juan is going to work and Lucas will stay to take care of Modesto. Juan asks about Simon and Lucas tells him that they had a fight with Paloma. Juan wishes that they could only rest for one day and no one is to fight in that house. They all meet and Mateo tells them about Brayan being absent from work for a few days.Simon also comes in complaining about Pedro going for a horseback ride again and will be late for work.
It seems it will be a usual thing. Speaking of the devil, Pedro enters and announces that he was just leaving. Adela too comes in telling Simon that everyone will be late for work today because Sarah has called a family meeting with all of them in the study. Simon and the other brothers enter the study and Simon doesn’t waste a moment – he comments that Sarah doesn’t really fit in the study.
Sarah tells them that she only came for the brotherly løve and that’s why she never wanted to take the place at first. She thanks Lucas for accepting her and supporting her all through and tells all of them that she’s going to give them what they all wanted in the first place – she is leaving the ranch and is also renouncing the inheritance. Juan, Lucas and Pedro look pissed off and they oppose her decision.
At Millan’s Bertha talks to Prospero telling him that Rosa is still sleeping and Jessica is back to her husband. Rosa has proven to be a good person by reconciling their marriage. The question is, is Mr Prospero also a good person? Prospero looks shocked by this question. Brayan is at the Cantina setting up everything ready for the day but then gets distracted and drops a chair. Cornelio tells him to be careful and asks what’s wrong.
At first Brayan lies about it saying that it’s because Jessica came back but then he breaks down and cries, saying Pedro wanted to k!ll him. He tells him about the tortüre and that he doesn’t know why Pedro changed his mind and let him leave because he was going to k!ll him. Cornelio proposes to Brayan to put a stop to all of Pedro’s evil deeds by going to the police but he was threatened that if he does so his family will suffer the consequences.
Juan tries to talk Sarah out of her decision but no it’s made. Everyone asks for a good reason for that but Simon says that the reason doesn’t matter, Sarah should have made that decision long ago. He doesn’t even know why she delayed. Anyway Sarah tells him that she doesn’t care about what he thinks anymore. Juan opens the door and Dante enters saying the will is already contested. Sarah is like what but wait she can still withdraw her challenge.
Prospero tells Bertha that of course he is not a bad man but just a little broke, why would Bertha ask such a question. Before she answers that Rosa comes in and says Bertha thought that because they thought he was so hard on Jessica but then he was right. Prospero doesn’t understand females anymore – if he does something, he is wrong and if he doesn’t do anything, he’s also wrong. He walks away.
Back at the study, Sarah is still fuming. She thinks that Juan planned this to stop her from leaving but it won’t work, she’s leaving no matter what. Pedro asks her to stay, she shouldn’t let Juan get between them. Sarah says there is no “them” and there was never “them” Pedro tells her that there is a “them”. He gets a little aggressive and Simon, Juan and Mateo rush in to protect Sara.
Mateo adds that Sarah isn’t the only woman in the world and Pedro has the power to seduce them all. Pedro calls him a drunk and tells him to shut up. Mateo jumps ready to handle him but Simon saves Pedro by saying that they can’t solve anything with fighting. Mateo looks so furious here. Anyway, Sarah tells them to stop all these for God’s sake they are all grown men.
Simon tells her to shut up because she can’t play the innocent one because she’s the root of the problem. She tells him to shut up, he doesn’t even know why she’s leaving. She turns to Dante and asks him if this was the reason why he avoided her. He knew she didn’t want to do it anymore huh? Juan tells her that Dante was just following orders. Lucas tells Sarah that she doesn’t have to leave, especially not now.
Lucas goes ahead and asks where the strong Sarah who challenged everyone is and she tells him that she is at the ground where Simon threw her. Simon is hit by this. Sarah acknowledges that she’s been through danger with her mom because she didn’t belong to this family but now it’s over, she doesn’t want the inheritance and doesn’t care about them.
Lucas is shocked to hear this. She adds that she only cares about herself and what she has in…what she has in her heart. Dulce comes back and goes to the square and calls out her løve, that’s Brandon and they happily reunite. Rosa and Bertha talk and Rosa asks what surprise Prospero had and Bertha thinks maybe a wedding.
No not that, she already knew about it, so maybe Deborah’s death. Rosa looks shocked. Modesto is still at the ranch having a hard time. He’s practically shaking when he remembers Pedro doing the burial. Paloma asks him what is wrong with him but he doesn’t answer her. Jessica is trying to help prepare breakfast at the Cruz’s but then complains about this domestic life not being for her.
Agustin gets irritated and therefore takes Jessica on; he tells her that she shouldn’t be talking about those things all the time because she’s hurting Brayan. He might be poor but he has feelings so if she doesn’t want him she should leave him alone no matter what her parents say. In fact Brayan deserves better. They are interrupted by the stove that Jessica was using to cook, because it caught fire.
Tadeo thinks that his father no longer cares about him because Pedro has distanced himself from him and has lost interest in him. Therefore he doesn’t think he should be going to the ranch anymore. Beatriz tells him that no Pedro is a busy man and besides that there are many ranch people who løve him there. Brayan confesses to Chavita that Cornelio went in search of his father because of the danger he is in Santa Catalina.
Salvador is shocked. Julieta is pissed off because Sarah has not come out yet to take her last horse ride. She calls Pedro but he doesn’t pick up. Juan tries harder to convince Sarah that the inheritance money might help her a lot especially now. She should think of her mom’s situation. Sarah points out his emotional blackmail and tells him to stop. Simon looks pissed off.
Sarah adds that Juan should stop giving her that face because he was the first one to ask her to leave in exchange for money and now he wants her to stay. Juan tells her that he wants to resolve this in the best possible way. Pedro jumps in with “Juan you’re married” and adds that he wants to be with Sarah, holy moly. Sarah boils up and tells them to stop fighting over her, she isn’t an object – she runs her life the way she sees fit.
Simon gets tired with the fairy tales, he tells Sarah that as far as he’s concerned, she can leave right this minute, no one is holding her back. Mateo too supports it but in a good way – he understands how Sarah feels about all these, leaving the inheritance is like taking a huge luggage off the shoulders. Lucas adds that Sarah is right and starts listing how the brothers did wrong to her.
He keeps talking and Pedro gets furious and wants to hit Lucas again. Juan and Mateo hold him back. Sarah has had enough of their dramas, don’t they realize that they are doing exactly what Severiano wouldn’t have wanted?
