Modesto and Adela keep talking about the possibility of Dante and Aurora knowing each other. Modesto explains to Adela that at the time when Juan and Pedro were rescued, Dante didn’t have any contact with the boys. Adela thinks that maybe she misinterpreted everything but no Modesto thinks that maybe they came to know each other through other means.
Deborah visits Dante in his hotel room and she’s welcomed at güñpoint. Ooh sorry he thought she was Pedro. They talk about things turning from bad to worse. Deborah tells Dante that Pedro asked about their relationship and it was because of the nosy little brat. The bad thing is she wasn’t able to take care of him today because Sarah saved him and hurt herself.
Dante gets concerned about Sarah but relax old man she’s fine. Dante tells Deborah that he warned her not to touch the boy.Anyway, Debbie wants to know why he fought with Pedro. He tells her that Pedro knows that he k!lled Henry and they fought because he wanted to frame Juan for the crime (embezzlement) he committed himself but Juan noticed it.
At the office, Juan asks Pedro if he really wants to resign but first Pedro apologizes to his brothers for having pointed out Juan as a thief. He only did it because he wanted to protect the company. The brothers tell him that they need him as the VP. Mateo tells them to hug and put their rivalry aside.
They hug but for Pedro it’s still an act. He tells them that he will come back if Juan agrees. Juan tells him that he never accepted his resignation. In the meantime, Deborah wonders if Sarah knew that Pedro was the embezzler. No she doesn’t and Deborah should shut her mouth; it’s just because Juan has been smarter than Severiano – he has been able to protect everyone including the ungrateful Pedro.
Dante is tired of living away from his family to work for the Del Montes. He wants to retire because the millions from Mateo and Lucas are just enough. Deborah tells him to relax. They ki$$ and Dante tells her to stay the night. Julieta stops at home and tells Rosa that she’s going to work but later they’ll go for a wedding dress shopping.
Rosa doesn’t like the fact that the wedding will be just a civil one. Later, Prospero overhears Julieta talking to Pedro over the phone and he asks who she was talking to. Beatriz and Tadeo visit Sarah and Tadeo thanks her for saving him, he will surely take care of her too bigtime.
Sarah is happy to see the robot he made. Anyway Beatriz invites Sarah to come see her and Paloma sing at the Cantina. Simon sees Brandon selling flowers at the park and goes to pick a bouquet for Paloma. He then sees Deborah standing there busy on her phone and he picks the flowers quickly and gets into his SUV.
Simón tries to run over Déborah with his SUV but luckily or unluckily Brandon shouts and Simon holds the brakes just near Deborah. Julieta tries to tell Prospero about not knowing that Pedro and Sarah were getting married she was just talking about her marriage to Juan, Prospero didn’t know they got along so well that they could make such kind of jokes.
Pedro is in the home office thinking about the conversation he had with his mom. He just wishes he could get her out of his head once and for all. Mateo comes in and asks if he’s ok and he says he is ok and he leaves. Mateo goes through Juan’s papers looking for Julieta’s DNA test results. Lucas finds him and tells him that if he needed anything he would better ask Juan himself.
Finally, Mateo comes clean and tells Lucas that he’s looking for the DNA test results presented by Julieta to Juan because the baby Julieta is expecting is his not Juan’s. Lucas is shocked! Simon jumps out of the car and goes to Deborah and tells her the sorry stuff – oooh I didn’t see you, do you want to go to hospital blah blah blah.
Deborah shouts to the public that Simon wants to k!ll her, she’ll file a complaint for attempted mürder. Simon tells himself that this lady started the fright game so she should be ready to face it because it’s just the start. Simon whispers to her that she should watch her back because any step she takes might be the last one. Simon leaves as Deborah looks shaken.
Juan goes to see Aurora at the store and she asks if Pedro told him that she was working there. Juan looks shocked to learn that Pedro and Aurora are talking. Anyway he tells Aurora to stay away from him and Pedro. How much does she want from him so that she’ll leave them alone. She tells him that she wants what he løves the most and that is the Santa Catalina refuge.
Sarah tells Beatriz that her period is late and Beatriz tells her that because she had some nausea, she might be pregnant. Sarah shoves off the idea, she’s sure she isn’t pregnant and if she is, then Juan will be the dad. Beatriz thinks it would be so cool. Juan looks surprised to realize that Aurora knows about the refuge.
Has she been investigating them? No she worked there so she knows it perfectly. She asked for it because she’s sure he would never give it to he. She wants to prove that she never came for anything from them. Juan tells her that she shouldn’t try to insult his intelligence, she should just name her price.
Aurora tries emotional blackmail but it doesn’t work on Juan. He forbids her from stepping into Santa Catalina.Deborah runs in the store to tell Juan that Simon wants to k!ll her, he’s crazy.
Mateo asks Lucas to keep it a secret. He explains that he had $éx with Julieta at that time and that’s why he suspects it. Lucas is like how could he? Mateo feels bad about it but the damage is already done.
Lucas tells him that no matter what the results say that child might be his. Mateo tells him that that’s why he needs a sample from Julieta. Rosa gets ready to go buy the wedding dress and Prospero tells them not to spend much on the dress due to their financial situation. Juan will be the one paying for that dress.
Prospero asks how Brayan is feeling and he tells them that he’s quitting his job. Jessica the fool bursts out asking about their house with a pool, how will they afford it or he wants to leave the hacienda because he’s involved with the women there?…(honestly I think this girl is tired of Brayan and that’s why she’s finding a reason to leave him).
Sarah is with Pedro and Tadeo at the park. Pedro was very worried about her. He says he would have died if something had happened to her and Tadeo too of course. Again, he thanks Sarah for saving Tadeo. He also swears to her that he knew nothing about the embezzlement and our fool believes him. Juan sees them together and feels jealous.
Simon gets to the Cantina with Brandon to explain to Paloma what really happened. He doesn’t want anyone else to tell her what happened. They tell her that he stopped to buy flowers from Brandon and he didn’t see Deborah crossing the road. Paloma believes him and she also tells him about her singing and he is against it.
Paloma tries to tell him that she’s only doing it for fun,,,(Sidenote : You all might say Simon is controlling because he’s a misogynist and blah blah blah but a married woman singing in the club for fun??? Seriously…)At Salvador Cantina, everyone is ready for the performance. Jessica has a problem with Brayan looking for a new job.
Prospero tries to tell Jessica to relax. Beatriz has named their two girl band as “Las Adoloridas” and they sing a song about “adoloridos”(those who have been hurt) and it’s dedicated to Sarah. Adela notices Mati’s backpack and tries to open it. Brandon prevents her from doing that and explains that he’s taking care of it for Mati. Adela is tired, she doesn’t want to argue anymore.
Rosa and Bertha plan on how they will get into Deborah’s bedroom during the wedding and steal the letters. Rosa has a good plan for that already. Lucas gets everyone to dance as the two ladies sing. Simon gets jealous and says to Lucas that his wife won’t sing again because he doesn’t want her to be harassed and whistled at by drunkards.
Jessica is still becoming a piece of sh!t. She wants Brayan to take her home and he’s working. Sarah and Juan enjoy their last dance at the bar together before he gets married and Julieta sees this and Pedro too. He’s only prevented by Lucas from causing a scene. Juan assures Sarah that he could call off his wedding if she asks him to. Pedro is still terróriziñg Brayan.
He asks him if things are going great and Brayan looks shocked. Later Sarah and Juan meet at night in the kitchen because they both can’t sleep. They talk about their life and the choices they have to make. Sarah doesn’t want to ruin his family the way her’s was ruined so she denies him a ki$$ and leaves.
In the morning of the wedding day, Juan is in the office remembering how Severiano told him that he has to marry someone who is a lifetime companion, someone he loves. Meanwhile at Millan’s, everyone gets ready for the wedding. Julieta tells them how she’s the happiest woman on earth because of the support of her parents.
